I have to say I really liked that opening song.

A lot of this episode was Family Guy going back to being funny, rather than hammering me with some random concept. The exchange between Stewie and the Canadian drunk was a highlight for me. Also loved the return of Robot Brian and Robot Stewie (along with a ton of new robots).

Then came the actual segment with Brian and Stewie as Santa. The scene at the first house was the first time in a long time that I can remember that we had a segment like this that started out funny, went on too long, then kept going to come all the way back around to being funny again.

I didn't know if Family Guy had an episode like this in them, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a great Christmas episode and one of the better FG episodes of the last few years. It managed to keep a lot the show's good humor and had a really heartwarming ending. Thumbs WAY up for me on this one.

Agreed, it was a very good episode all-around. The Gary Busey cutaway was an easy laugh but it cracked me up for some reason.

So The Lion King was the #1 movie at the box office this weekend, and last week it was announced that Ghostbusters will be coming back out in October. Rereleasing movies was commonplace until home video came around.
