As a plot, this episode fell really flat. It's kind of a reach to believe that Carter doesn't get his company back once he recovers. Hell, his name was still on the company.

But as far as random laughs and funny stuff, this one had a good groove going. Loved the African-American Heart Monitor, especially once it was set to "Bill Cosby", the Jeremy Irons cereal, and Brian's office with the motivational poster.

Oh, and how could I forget the random antics of House?

House: House.
Peter: Roadhouse.
House: That, too.

Hugh Laurie going into his natural voice at the end was the clincher for me. Flimsy plot aside, this episode's a keeper.

Yeah, House alone was worth watching this episode.

The House/Roadhouse killed me. That only was worth the 22 minutes of my attention.

Life is hilariously cruel.

I did not start watching this show until a few episodes ago (not coincidentally, it wasn't until I finally got DVR [is it "got DVR" or "got a DVR" there?]) I didn't give it a chance at first because the promos looked stupid to me.
