This episode didn't feel as good as the last few weeks, but it definitely had its moments. I thought for sure "Black Jesus" would get at least one or two more mentions, but the one cutaway we got was great. But the Manatee Joke of the Week goes to Joe's parrot:
Joe: I just got him this week. Peter: Cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple, cripple Parrot: Cripple Joe: DAMMIT!!!
And nothing will beat Quagmire absolutely DESTROYING Brian with the equivalent of a verbal bitchslap, completely dissecting everything that's been annoying about his character pretty much since FG came back on the air. I almost wonder if it's Seth MacFarlane's bizarre way of apologizing for beating the audience over the head with Brian's views.
There not much more I can add to this because It's False said it straight on about tonight. I will say that watching Brian get teardowned by Quagmire at the steakhouse was awesome. But the very end with Stewie consoling him and allowing him to sleep in his room (on the floor, not what you think) was a heartwarming ending. It speaks to how their relationship has grown over the years in that I never would had believed them to be that nice to each other earlier on in the series.
Quagmire tearing into Brian felt like a very good rant on the show for the last three years to those who think it has become too political. I did like the new black character epically him giving the Heimlich to Lois. It was a solid episode.

His militairy training allows him to figure it out quickly? Plus he's Tony's best bud. Maybe he already got some tips out of him at random moments. "Wow, flying this thing is difficult. Until I learned how to stabilize using xyz"
