As for the FG episodes, they were both pretty good. The first episode's first seven minutes will probably be the best of the season, as I haven't seen anything funnier than Peter randomly kicking things and saying "Roadhouse". Of course, nothing beats the payoff, as Joe's whisked away by evil spirits.
"Ghost!"
Aaaaaand it's all downhill from there. But the first seven minutes were total awesome.
The second episode is more concerning, as they've actually gone around to giving the Evil Monkey an episode and giving him a proper sendoff, making me think the show's running out of ideas faster than anyone thought. A decent episode, and I'll admit to laughing once Miley Cyrus went into "Crush, Kill, Destroy" mode.
Fairly good stuff, but nothing will beat the "Roadhouse" stuff this week. And classy of them to dedicate the episode to Patrick Swayze.
They STILL haven't explained how Marlee Matlin could hear the MoviePhone! I don't CARE if that ruins the bit! ACKNOWLEDGE IT
Were the animated links the first Family Guy in HD? I think they were.
Sadly, a combination of DVR wonkery and me falling asleep meant I didn't see either episode completely. Hulu has "Hannah Banana" (which they list as 8x4 for some reason) but not the other one.
I guess I'll link it since I'm here: Family Guy 8x4 "Hannah Banana"
Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show (Special)
I'm starting to suffer from Seth McFarlene overload on Sunday Night. They guy is funny, but it feels like his stuff is being stretched too thin instead of being crammed into a half hour or so.
I was flipping between the second one, the NFL game and downloading CAWs for SVR 2010. Downloading is so addicting. I have only 50 spots to do a DC lead invasion of the Marvel Universe, re-do the NWO storyline and have DX boot out Shawn/HHH while getting some ECW guys for the greatest November to Remember on TNA. I thought it was ok, the evil monkey will be missed. The best part was Brian getting Hannah's cyborg hand at the end. I missed the first one, so I will try to get catch it on Hulu. I watched two minutes of the Seth/Alexis show and gave up. I understand its a riff on old Vegas, but half an hour is too long, hell two minutes was too long.

I was eight when Star Wars came out in 1977. The second time we went to see it (of probably 15 times in the theater, which at $1.00 matinee made it a no brainer), I decided to take my Sears brand cassette recorder and capture the magic.
