Well, Cerebus kinda wins that one, doesn't he?
Yes, we all made sure to point out that Stewie did destroy his time machine. Of course, that didn't account for all the wacky rules of time travel that pop into this show. And sure enough, Stewie bumped into a future version of himself fiddling around with a return pad, which allowed him to go back and save Brian. And thus (two episodes later), all is at it was.
There's a small bit to feel uncomfortable about here. I cringed when Brian pointed out that any other family would have simply threw up their hands and gotten another dog, which is yet another reminder that this show's main characters aren't half as likable as they used to be.
But other than that, we got swerved...and in a good way. They really had me going and, as mentioned before, I can't remember the last time there was this much buzz surrounding FG. Everything played out kinda perfectly, right down to Seth MacFarlane knowing just when to pull the plug on Vinnie (who showed real potential to overstay his welcome) and go back to the status quo.
What say you all? I kinda liked this.
"Playing guitars. It's hard to sing while playing...guitars."
I saw this online. Apparently, the director of "Fame" made this 8 minute "Trailer" to stir up interest in a reboot of Mortal Kombat. It features Michael Jai White (Jax), Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade), Matt Mullins (Johnny Cage)
