The grid of course reflects new time slots, like Whitney and Community now on the 8pm Friday block.
For new shows, I plan to check out Arrow, The Mindy Project, Revolution, Elementary, and 666 Park Avenue and see how those are. Knowing me, I'll stick with Arrow no matter what, all the way to its cancellation ten seasons from now.
Every year I feel like I watch less and less TV when I look at the network grids, but then I fail to factor in all the stuff I watch on cable and premium channels like HBO, Showtime and Starz.
I must say, the once-indomitable Thursday night comedy block has never looked more domitable. 30 Rock is nearing its end, The Office (rebooted for the second time in two years) is past its prime, and I don't watch Up All Night. Parks and Recreation is the only true Must See on NBC Thursdays for me.
@CMPunk
“@ZackRyder: @CMPunk She played me bro” I got your back.
Are you kidding me? 4 of the only network shows I watch anymore - Law & Order SVU, Modern Family, Criminal Minds, and Supernatural - are all Wednesdays at 9PM now? Time to make friends with Hulu.
Crazily enough, the TiVo straining timeslot for me is Friday evenings at 8:30 when Community goes up against the 2nd half of Shark Tank. Outside of NBC Thursday comedy . . . slim pickings (although the Fox Tuesday night comedy lineup could be ok).
"You are going to get a certain amount of snarkiness on the Internet no matter what, and my rule is that you don't post anything that you wouldn't say to someone's face." Marc Andreyko (Writer of DC Comic's "Manhunter")
As the older guy in the group, Monday looks DVR straining, as I like Castle and Hawaii 50 and want to check Revolution, Wed as Middle goes up against Arrow and Thursday as Last Resort goes up against Big Bang and 2.5. I am sure the wife will want to still watch Gray's (why? I dunno) so I can DVR POI, which is a fav. Elementary looks good.
Arrow, Revolution and Last Resort are my only new shows. Although I watched the premier of Go On last night after the O's and it wasn't too bad. Matt's still funny and the ensemble is amusing.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
Hard to say, but I am willing to give anything by Ryan. Chicago Code was a fav and so was the Shield. and Robert Patrick is on the show.
Heck, Lost lasted 7 seasons. It's at least as odd a concept.

NOT happy about Suburgatory moving into the 9:30 slot. That totally screws up my Wednesdays.
Community and CSI: NY are on at the same time too? Community will lose there. Parks & Rec probably will too because it's the only program I have any vague interest in on Thursdays, so why bother.
I hope Vegas is good.
You know what the one thing I'm REALLY looking forward to is? GSN's Pyramid revival.
Only The Mindy Project for me. Terrible name for the show, though. It sounds like the IMDB listings when the movie doesn't have a title yet. I'd like to see it succeed though, Mindy has written some of the better The Office episodes. And she is nice to look at sometimes :)
Modern Family, Big Bang Theory & Community are the only shows out of all of those I take any active interest in + Cougar Town. Everything else I watch on any kind of semi-regular basis is on cable
Easily the best of the three ICE AGE movies. All the regulars return, plus a few new ones. Not going to give you the synopsis, since if you've seen the trailer, you know it already. It's hilarious and family friendly. So, go see it.
