John Cena vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison, WWE Championship, Steel Cage Match: Miz retains and maybe Cena feuds with Del Rio next?

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio, World Championship, Ladder Match: Del Rio wins. I just don't believe WWE is going to go with Christian as their top babyface. Christian winning because Del Rio was drafted to Raw seems too predictable. Maybe Del Rio gets to be on both shows because he has the belt.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk, Last Man Standing Match: I would think Punk would have to one-up Orton at some point, but this appears to be the blow-off, so Orton wins.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes, Falls Count Anywhere Match: Mysterio wins, but this is a feud that helped propel Rhodes up the card.

Jack Swagger & Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross, Country Whipping Match: The faces go over, and hopefully, Cole gets his and then some.

EDIT: Michelle McCool vs. Layla, Loser Leaves WWE: Layla wins, based on recent reports.

Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

John Cena vs. The Miz vs. R-Truth John Morrison, WWE Championship, Steel Cage Match: Cena wins, has a face off with Rock in the ring on Monday night, and the story becomes whether or Cena can keep the belt until his date with destiny in Miami.

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio, World Championship, Ladder Match: Christian wins. Yes, gee, it's predictable, but it's also the right booking. Christian deserves the chance to be on top and the hot-shot Mark Henry heel turn tonight (as bad an idea as that will be) indicates to me they'll try to position him as his first opponent. (Orton will inevitably be put on top down the road, but I think they'll try to use him to elevate some people first, starting with Cody Rhodes since they have history and it would tie right into the Punk feud.)

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk, Last Man Standing Match: Orton wins. I cry in my lemonade and curse at WWE creative again for continuing to bury the best heel on either brand.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes, Falls Count Anywhere Match: Rhodes wins; he needs it more than Rey does and he'll need the added credibility if they're going to program him with Orton as I'm suspecting.

Jack Swagger & Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross, Country Whipping Match: END THIS NOW PLEASE. Lawler & JR.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

John Cena vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison, WWE Championship, Steel Cage Match: Miz retains by pinning Morrison, the proven loser. Miz and Cena take it to Part 3 next month.

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio, World Championship, Ladder Match: Del Rio getting shipped to Raw completely removes all doubt as to the result, as if it wasn't already obvious. Christian wins. We get the Edge/Christian celebration in the middle of the ring.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk, Last Man Standing Match: Christian may be winning the title, but we know who the REAL star of SmackDown's going to be, so it's time to cement Orton as the unbeatable babyface. The Nexus guys all run in and get demolished single-handedly before Orton wipes out Punk and wins.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes, Falls Count Anywhere Match: There's no point in having Mysterio go over here, so I'm going with Cody. If there's any justice, he'll be Christian's first challenger for the world title.

Jack Swagger & Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross, Country Whipping Match: Can THIS be the match where Cole gets completely destroyed or are they going to screw this up too? I'm going with the latter. Cole and Swagger win by some inane nonsense.

EDIT:

Michelle McCool vs. Layla: It would make total sense for Layla to win here, so Michelle could vacation with Undertaker. But my Spidey Sense is tingling here. I may be reading too much into the SmackDown opening credits, but there's a reason that Michelle's there and Layla isn't. Michelle wins.

And if we get...

Sheamus vs. Kofi Kingston, United States Championship: Friday's beatdown makes me think we're getting a title match thrown in at the last second. Kofi wins and takes the U.S. title back to Raw.

Miz retains

Cole and Swagger win, since this feud has already been booked poorly enough as it is

Christian wins the title, gets a token two-month reign as champ (probably eating at least a couple of non-title losses on TV) before losing the belt to Cody or *shudder* Mark Henry. It's all just preamble to keeping the world title warm for Randy Orton anyway; I'd be shocked if Orton isn't champ by Summerslam at the latest

Orton over Punk, to continue my thought

Rhodes over Rey

Just to fill out the card, I predict we'll get something like Kane and Show defending against Barrett and Jackson, in which case the champs retain

John Cena vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison, WWE Championship, Steel Cage Match
Morrison wins, takes the belt to SmackDown.

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio, World Championship, Ladder Match
Del Rio wins, takes belt with him to RAW. Christian comes out looking like a million dollars.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk, Last Man Standing Match
If Punk really is leaving, Orton. But Punk should get one win in this fight. Also, we can't discount the possibility of Orton getting injured again.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes, Falls Count Anywhere Match
Rey, and it doesn't matter because Rhodes has the momentum.

Jack Swagger & Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross, Country Whipping Match
Swagger turns on Cole, allowing Lawler to pin Cole.

EDIT: Layla wins so Michelle can properly heal.

I think the Del Rio thing is just setting up cruel false hope for fans of the wrestler Christian. If Del Rio wins the title they can still basically have anyone beat Miz whenever they want. My guess is Orton will challenge him at the Rock's birthday party and get the match just ... 'cause.

But I would take Christian/Mark Henry main events for the rest of the year if it meant he could win.

It's a distinct possibility tha they fuck with the fans like that, but if Orton's going to be the champ immediately that leaves them with essentially no fresh program for the title. Sheamus is the defacto top heel on SD now, and he and Orton is a massively stale combo. Ditto Orton/Barrett. For the sake of freshness Christian almost has to go over.

John Cena vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison, WWE Championship, Steel Cage Match: Cena wins. I think everyone has come to the conclusion Miz is getting stale hence A-Riley being gone. Cena is even staler it allows for Cena and Rock to have a moment where Rock stares at the title on Monday. It also leads the storyline of can John hold on to the title til Mania and will Rock help or hurt on the way?

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio, World Championship, Ladder Match: Christian. They will tease a unification match during the show, but then have Christian win.

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk, Last Man Standing Match: Orton wins and punts Punk out for two months or the rest of his career.

Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes, Falls Count Anywhere Match:
Rey wins to avenge mania.

Jack Swagger & Michael Cole vs. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross, Country Whipping Match: Cole and Swagger. This should have ended at Mania, but it will continue all summer while Cole becomes most channel flipped personality of all time.

The Miz (Cena doesn't need to win. Morrison will NEVER win)
Christian (Please?)
Punk (I fear a kick..I hope for a good match)
Cody Rhodes (there's no need to not have Cody win just because it's the blow off. Especially since it helps him in his next feud)
Lawler & JR (yet Michael Cole will still be there on Monday)
Michelle McCool (Layla will be a cute 'fun' face on Raw)

WWE Championship (Steel Cage): The Miz (c) v. John Cena v. John Morrison- If and when Cena wins the belt, it will be at a bigger PPV so I will say Miz retains here.

World Heavyweight Championship (Ladder Match): Christian v. Alberto Del Rio- Christian has always been considered a top mid-carder in the eyes of the WWE but will he finally have his day? Part of me says Christian could win and keep the belt on Smackdown but the other part of me says ADR has a date with destiny and the belt. I will go with ADR winning the belt and Christian having a really good match to tease the idea of him winning. I would love to see Christian win it here but the WWE simply does not look at Christian as a world title holder.

Randy Orton v. CM Punk (Last Man Standing)- Orton wins though it would be nice to add more credibility to CM Punk and have him win here.

Rey Mysterio v. Cody Rhodes (Falls Count Anywhere)- This feud definitely has elevated Cody Rhodes but Rey Mysterio gets the W.

Michael Cole/ Jack Swagger v. Jim Ross/ Jerry "The King" Lawler (Country Whipping Match)- The faces win here and Michael Cole gets his comeuppance.

Michelle McCool v. Layla El (No DQ, No Countouts and loser leaves the WWE)- Michelle wins and we don't see Layla for a short bit but comes back on the Raw brand.

WWE Championship (Steel Cage): The Miz (c) v. John Cena v. John Morrison - Miz wins.

World Heavyweight Championship (Ladder Match): Christian v. Alberto Del Rio - Christian wins as the upper brass decides to give him a shot, perhaps because Edge may have mentioned on his way out that Christian deserves it.

Randy Orton v. CM Punk (Last Man Standing) - I'm thinking Orton wins, feud done. Well, I was until those reports about Punk came out. I'll go with Punk winning.

Rey Mysterio v. Cody Rhodes (Falls Count Anywhere) - Rhodes to finish the feud.

Michael Cole/ Jack Swagger v. Jim Ross/ Jerry "The King" Lawler (Country Whipping Match) - Lawler and Ross win. I could see Ross being repalced due to injury by Daniel Bryan.

Michelle McCool v. Layla El (No DQ, No Countouts and loser leaves the WWE) - Layla wins, McCool spends some time with her husband.

Miz. Really could go either way on this one (no, as a matter of fact I'm NOT counting Morrison as a way), but I'm thinking if they were going to give Cena the win they'd have done it at Mania.

Christian. Here's my thinking: I don't think putting ADR over here really makes him look that good. It's like he couldn't beat Edge, and then he wins the title over Christian, who has never been presented as World-title-worthy and is only in the match because he's Edge's little buddy. Moreover, ADR would then presumably have to lose the title quickly, unless they're going to have someone from SD end up beating Miz (or Cena), which seems unlikely. Much better to have Christian win, since him winning the title is never going to be as over as it will right now. They can always have Christian lose it later if the fans don't take to it, and ADR can go to Raw, reestablish himself, and then win his first title in a way that will mean more.

Orton. If I'm going to pick the E as doing the right thing by Christian, I'd better pick the guy Vince loves going over here.

Cody. Won't hurt Rey, will make Rhodes look good.

Lawler/JR. Not feeling too sure about this one, but I'm hopeful that they're seeing that they've passed the point of diminishing returns on this feud.

Layla. Suffice it to say that I got that idea from reading f4wonline.

Changing my pick for the tag match. I predict JR will be unable to compete thanks to the broken hand, so the anonymous Raw GM will name a replacement -- Sin Cara. King and Cara win, then JR beats up Cole with his good hand.

Miz retains the WWE Title. Did the company forget that Morrison's even in this match?

Christian wins the World Title and keeps it on SmackDown. (Oh, please let this happen).

Orton wins decisively, and Punk gets put on the shelf for awhile, much to my dismay as he's one of the best things going today.

Rhodes defeats Rey.

I like Big Bad's prediction: JR can't compete with his broken hand; Sin Cara takes his place and helps Lawler defeat Cole and Swagger. And then hopefully this damn storyline ends already.

World Heavyweight Championship (Ladder Match): Christian v. Alberto Del Rio - Alberto.

Randy Orton v. CM Punk (Last Man Standing) - Orton goes over again, punting Punk into some time off.

Rey Mysterio v. Cody Rhodes (Falls Count Anywhere) - Cody wins and beats the living hell out of Rey in the process.

Michael Cole/ Jack Swagger v. Jim Ross/ Jerry "The King" Lawler (Country Whipping Match) - Lawler and Ross win.

John Cena vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison for the WWE Championship (Steel Cage)

Miz retains and feuds with Rey Mysterio (who will come out of the feud as champion and move on the Alberto Del Rio). Cena feuds with Del Rio sans title, Morrison feuds with R-Truth (who gets involved in the cage match.)

Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship (Ladder Match)

Christian wins after Edge takes out Brodus Clay and/or Roberto Rodriguez. (Edge might not be able to wrestle but I'm sure he can swing a steel chair just fine.)

Randy Orton vs CM Punk (Last Man Standing)

Taking a cue from Cena's duct tape victory over Batista last year, Punk has the New Nexus pile on top of Orton so he can't answer the 10 Count. (Orton gets his revenge by kicking Punk's ass at The Rock's birthday.)

Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes (Falls Count Anywhere)

Cody went over Rey in a 12 minute match at Wrestlemania. I don't think he needs this victory like he did that one. Rey wins with a 619 around a pole somewhere in the auditorium.

Michael Cole & Jack Swagger vs Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross (Country Whipping Match)

What the hell is a country whipping match? Belts on a pole? A strap match where you're not actually connected to your opponent? Do you win by whipping your opponent, do you get to whip your opponent after you win or are you just allowed to whip your opponent during the match but still have to pin/submit them? I predict that nobody gets a belt wrapped around their throat.

(How come Jim Ross never brings up the fact that Michael Cole may be undefeated at Wrestlemania but JR is the only man in the WWE to have ever won a Capture The Midget match?)

Layla vs Michelle McCool (Loser Leaves WWE)

Layla wins clean and the entire Divas lockerroom comes out to celebrate her in a fashion not seen since Lex Luger took the WCW Championship from Hulk Hogan. Layla is so pumped up about ridding the WWE of Michelle McCool that she promises to save the divas from Kharma as well. She fails.

Sheamus vs Kofi Kingston for the United States Championship (Capture The Midget Match)

Hornswoggle, of course, being the midget. Hilarity ensues when Sheamus nearly captures Horny only to be defeated by a bout of sneezing. It's discovered that Sheamus is allergic to leprechauns, which allows Kofi Kingston to bring the US title back to Raw and kicks off an Irish civil war on Smackdown. (Expect hilarious vignettes such as Sheamus going to an allergist to get tested, only to discover Hornswoggle under the table. Horny escapes by cracking Sheamus over the head with a bedpan. Also, there will be a backstage segment of Sheamus being furious because catering ran out of potatoes.)
