Cortesía luchablog (Cubs), I don't know the circumstances surrounding this Arena Colieseo matchup from 5/12, but if you've got 15 minutes and like the pro wrestling, you owe it to yourself to check out this lightning match (one fall, 10 minute time limit) between Blue Panther and Virus. See how long it takes you to figure out what made it so interesting to me.

They never touched the ropes the whole ten minutes and they never threw a punch or kick. It was only exchanges of holds.
There is no story! Both guys are two super respected mat wrestlers who had been in the same company for more than 15 years but had never had a singles match. CMLL does these no feud, random good guy vs bad guy 10 minute singles matches on just about every show. These two took the occasion to showcase how they could do something very few others in the promotion could compelling pull off.
Everyone pretty much loved it, and there are no immediate plans to follow up on it.

One nitpick. The WRESTLE-1 shows were promoted by Keiji Mutoh aka The Great Muta (All Japan President) and then-K1 president Kazuyoshi Ishii. Mutoh seems to be the Sports Entertainment fan, and even did commentary on WWE's last Japan go-through.
