Hello all. On October 15th (next saturday) I will be participating in Extra Life 2011. As you may remember (or may not) from years past, Extra Life is a 24 hour video game marathon to raise money for hospitals in the Children's Miracle Network.
My money goes to the Children's Hospital in Richmond, VA. When my brother was born 30 years ago, he was born with a cleft palate. The doctors there performed plastic surgery on him and now you have no idea that anything had ever been wrong. My family didn't really have a lot of money, and we were taken care of by the hospital.
Starting off with Mega Man's as usual. My brother lent me the new Mortal Kombat, and the newest installment of Street Fighter IV (Super Arcade Turbo or something like that). Probably some Tecmo Bowl, some WoW, and maybe Street Fighter III. Oh, and definitely some Soul Calibur IV.
Last year I raised $560 total. This year I've already raised $1,158 with hopefully more to come. (Fingers crossed!)
Tune into the world's most boring webcam tomorrow starting at 8AM!
Am I in Horseville? Because I'm hearing nothing but naysayers!
Click Here (biz.yahoo.com) I still think if I'm going to get FFXI, I'll get it for the PC. At the very least though, this finally adds some of the capabilities to the PS2 that most XBox fans have been complaining its lacked for a while now.
