Given the nature in which people tend to chat on this board, have you guys considered allowing the Thread title to change as the nature of the posts do? The Smarkies thread in Site Bashing runs through about four different phases, and it may still be evolving as I type. I know that threads are *supposed* to stick to topic, but given that that's not the case, I was just wondering if anyone has put any thought to this, or if this is just part of life at Weinerville.
No see, it's a skill. A badge of honor even, when a perfectly good thread gets turned on its ear and everybody jumps on board the gravytrain to weirdness. If the thread headers changed (and who would do the changing?) then all the history of the thread would be lost. Don't piss on tradition man.
And if I could, I'd change this thread title to: Burkett's Cheese, Please. Thus rendering the posts weirdest of all because I changed it backwards! And probably also rendering me banned, for at least a day or two.

"Hate, who do I hate? You tell me."
"Who do you love?"

I don't get the Burkett's Cheese, Please joke. I'm not saying that the history of the thread has to be forgotten. The old posts would still exist as the concept of the thread would remain unchanged. I'm just saying that the main heading would change to reflect current content. For exampe, instead of saying "Evolving Topics" this thread title could now say something like "Burkett's Cheese... wtf???" to reflect the topic of my post. Or something of that nature.
Just curious: Will excluding the Googlebots from the guest count have any affect on the "views" count for the site? Also, would it be possible, having excluded the 'bots from the guest count, to give them their own category (i.e.
