| #3 Posted on 7.8.03 1535.00 | Yes, Motorhead does the theme. They talked about it just the other day on their site:
(reprinted from 411)
Hard rock stalewarts Motorhead are the band behind the new Evolution theme song, as well as HHH's theme song. They said this on their website about the new track:
We have been swamped with requests for info on the new Motorhead track being used for Wrestling's RAW. It seems that Triple H has formed a new wrestling group in an effort to solidify his new "evil" character profile.
Triple H has aligned himself with "the dirtiest players in the game," Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista. Together, they call themselves Evolution.
Triple H once again called on Lemmy & Motorhead to record the theme music for their new group, Evolution. The band managed to record a version of the song in Germany recently. They then returned to the USA and re-recorded the final version. Look for more details on the release of the song in this space.
-----------------------------
As of now, I don't think it's possible to download it.

| #7 Posted on 7.8.03 1702.03 | | I liked Evolution's original theme and TitanTron. The new theme isn't bad, but the new TitanTron, I don't like. It seems like it's just Randy Orton making out with random women. The last one, when they were getting off the plane and WALKING was good. I loved Motorhead's "The Game" theme for Triple H, so I think I can get used to this one. | tomvejada

Cool.

| #9 Posted on 7.8.03 1723.29 | For me, the jury's still out. The first theme certainly was better. The Motorhead one just seems kinda... nondescript. It also sounds a little too much like Rock's music for my liking. But then again, I might very well be tone deaf, too.
Am I the only one who thinks this?

Actually, the scene with them walking away from a helicopter is still in the tron. I assume you mean the Reservoir Dogs-esque scene with them walking down a street. I too loved that scene and wish they kept it.
I also prefer the original instrumental. I can barely understand a thing Lemmy is saying in this new version.

I invented that term, you know ... My brother remarked that the beginning of HHH's old theme song sounded like a "flock of dying seagulls", and I mentioned this in an email to CRZ (don't remember why exactly I brought it up). So, of course he rips me off in one of his recaps

What does this new titantron have to do with the concept of "Evolution" anyway? Wow, sitting in a limo and making out with girls, it just looks like a rap video.

If some of you remember Motorhead released Triple H's ''The Game'' theme on mp3 on their website about a month before it appeared on Vol. 5. I would expext the same in the coming weeks for the evolution theme. | drjayphd

| #20 Posted on 12.8.03 1033.38 | Was that yet another remix that special ref Randy Orton came out to Monday night on RAW? I swear it started with the guitar hit that begin's Motorhead's "The Game" HHH theme, then went to the Evolution music. (They let the instrumentals go a little while before Lemmy kicked in...I think I like this new mix best of all. Kinda shows HHH's dominance as leader of the faction and all...if only to p*ss off us smarks.)
And Flair did come out to "Theme from 2001: A Space Odyssey" (my German spelling ain't good) to do the J-O-B to Goldberg. Perfecto.
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.
