| #1 Posted on 17.6.03 1334.39 | Okay, I can appreciate the ending of RAW, but what chaps my ass is the fact of them promising something again and then not paying off. At one one point either JR or the King said that we would find out a new member of Evolution tonight ... and alas nothing ...
And is anyone dumb enough to believe that Test would be the new member ... oh wait, this is Vince we're talking about, so it might happen ...

| #2 Posted on 17.6.03 1409.33 | Well, according to Dave Meltzer, the plan was for Mark Jindrak to be the fourth member. If that's still in the books, then it's best they didn't do it tonight.
"Who will the new Evolution member be? Will it be Kevin Nash, Test, Shawn Michaels, Kane, or... HOLD ON! It's Mark Jindrak!!! By God, King, Mark Jindrak has joined EVOLUTION!!!"
Kind of a let-down.

| #3 Posted on 17.6.03 1416.59 | I thought they just said that Evolution would be making an *offer* to have a new member join- not them actually getting a new member. Maybe the wording got changed around throughout the show. I fast forwarded through some of the junk, so maybe I missed it. Besides, their new video shows Orton, HHH and Flair walking down a street or something. They wouldn't make that, and then add a new member the same night, so I figured it was kinda obvious no one was joining last night.
I do hope they get a new member eventually, but I hope it isn't Mark Jindrak. Three is just not enough for a stable- especailly when one of them is around 50 years old. They need a tag team, and keep Flair in a manager's role, who wrestles once in a great while.

Jindrak might work ... he just needs some TV exposure ...
Poor Batista ... he must have cried last night ...

| #5 Posted on 17.6.03 1738.28 | I'd rather see Evolution stay the way they are rather than add Kane or Jindrak. If Kane is turning heel, have him just by himself. And I don't see Jindrak as an enforcer.
If Evolution is to add another member, it should be Batista once he recovers from his injury.

| #6 Posted on 17.6.03 1822.34 | I think Meltzer is a shoddy reporter. I have my connections.
I know who the 4th member of Evolution will be.
Think about this way: Evolution is on GM Eric Bischoff's RAW, RAW is owned by Vince McMahon (who seeks a ratings pop), the internet fans want a former World Champion to bring credibility, and the casual fans want name value intertwined with pop culture.
Here is the 4th member of Evolution and the spark needed to bring "sports-entertainment" to mainstream culture again

You guessed it, David Arquette!

I think 3-4 more months. He's out for a total of about 6 months. It might be longer than that though, i'm not too sure. But that's the original time frame given.

I mean, that's what Orton does to kill time between injuries.

What do you mean Test wouldn't be a good fit? He's not any worse than Batista. He's a big guy which since Kane and Batista are being thrown around so much tells me they're expecting to fill in the fourth spot with a big man. He's been in plenty of tag teams and stables before. Even though I don't particularly want it to be Test I don't think it's that hard to believe that Test could fill the spot.
I hadn't heard the Jindrak rumor yet, he actually popped into my mind during the O'Haire interview last week when he threw himself into the tag title picture, I didn't think of Jindrak during the Evolution segment. I guess him and Orton would be a pretty decent young tag team.
Maybe they do still plan to keep Batista in the group when he comes back but they are going to add Jindrak too, that would still only be four members since Flair isn't a wrestler. So you have Triple as the leader, Batista as the Enforcer and Orton and Jindrak as a tag team.

Test has filled a lot of spots though. That's the main reason I don't want him in there. What stables has he been in? The Corporation. The UNION. The Unamericans. He's just there. Like JR said sometime this year "He's been living on 'potential' for a long time."
Evolution is a fresh chance to get someone over. It's frickin' Hunter giving out the props. Whoever is in there will get the push of God. (In theory.) So I don't think it's necessary that they put an established star (like RVD) in there, as someone else suggested in another thread. So the best fit here is a brand new guy with The Look and credible enough big man skills (since they're going big for the spot.)

And did you catch the sound of utter defeat in JR's voice when Test won the online poll? Too funny.

| #16 Posted on 18.6.03 1029.20 | OOOOOH no, we're not turning this into another Test thread, are we? Of course it would chap my ass if Test joined. But that doesn't mean I have to take him seriously. They give him lots of chances, but he doesn't have the personality to seize the moment. These last couple of weeks, JR called him the kind of Names that HHH easily elicited in his peak. Test is no part of a man! Folks, whether we like it or not, Test might be a more convincing heel than we'd give him credit for. But, he comes off as a vanilla, so the issue about him being "over" is still up for debate.

| #17 Posted on 18.6.03 1212.35 | | Test is about as over as he'll ever be. Which isn't too bad, considering he's about as solid a midcarder as you could ask for. He's a familiar face, bad on the mic, not too bad in the ring, solid mobility and decent moveset, and most importantly, he isn't sloppy, so he doesn't hurt the people he's in there with. He's got all the tools to sit in the midcard forever. It seems like he gets a lot of pushes, but it's always felt to me like they were just trying to keep heat on him, and it usually works. Test is one of those guys that no matter what he does, he doesn't seem to gain or lose a whole lot of heat. | wordlife
