I'm sure someone out there in Wienerland will know the answer to this question. Will EURO 2004, which for some reason I want to watch, be on US TV? I don't mean like one of those big twelve foot C-band satellites either. Just regular cable or DirecTV. Any thoughts?

Pretend I don't know what that is. What's EURO 2004?

EURO 2004 is a football (soccer) tournament in which the best 16 national teams in Europe compete. The European Championships occur every four years and this time it is being held in Portugal. The tournament will start on 12th June and the final is on the 4th July.
I doubt it'll make the local Fox Sports Net, only because my roommate is a huge European football fan, and he has to go into our work to watch football games, which means getting in there at 7 in the morning to watch a game live on Fox Sports World.
At his home (non-college home, that is) his parents get some cable package on DirecTV that lets him get all the football games that he wants.

The only way is to subscribe through DirecTV. It costs $179 and brings you every game live. My personal preference is to go someplace that will televise the games. In general, they charge a $5 cover to watch the games. You may get that cover waived if you are over 21, depending on the bar.
I can assure you EURO 2004 will showcase some of the best talent in the world. Except for the Brazilians and the Argentinians, I think every top team in the world is playing.
Zidane, Beckham, Henry, Nedved, Quaresma, Van Nistelrooy, Raul... to name but a few.
I can't wait, I hope England don't get squashed by France. After a comprehensive 6-1 win over Iceland last night I certainly feel more easy.
Btw.. to all american fans.. Cobi Jones RULES! He had a loan spell at my team in England and I really enjoyed his desire to produce his best.
Hahneman and Howard are too cracking keepers too.... looks like the US will have a tough chore picking a man to go in the sticks for the next world cup.. (i'm sure the US will make it once more).

DirecTV is running a channel to order this thing next to the NFL Sunday Ticket ordering channels, so it can be seen in the States.

Does anybody know, or have a guess, as to how the final acting credit star is chosen. You know, where it says all the names and then it says "AND [supporting actor].
