So, Eugene has yet to wrestle but is getting a fair amount of screen time.
In another thread there have been predictions of him getting an unannounced PPV match this weekend. While it would not surprise me, I don't think it's going to happen.
Instead I see Eugene making an appearance during the Fozzy concert, or maybe reading RAW magazine and asking whoever for an autograph.
When he finally does wrestle, it'll be to Coach or even Al Snow, before moving up to Sgt. Slaughter, Trish, Storm, Venis, before his first loss comes to one of the MHs - Matt Hardy or Mark Henry.
Originally posted by DynamiteKidI never understood the whole concept behind the Red Rooster.
What was Terry Taylor supposed to be? Was he supposed to be a giant chicken or did he get hit on his head with a piece of plaster and just think he was a giant chicken. Was there some kind of story line behind this?
Ideally, if the story line had worked where was it supposed to go?
I believe the Barry Windham Stalker gimmick was actually meant to debut around the time of the Rooster, so they could do a predator versus prey storyline, resulting in Terry Taylor being eaten like Pepper the dog eventually was. Then, he was supposed to emerge from the giant egg and survivor series and get his win back.
Windham came in as The Widowmaker (not the Stalker) during his short-lived 1989 run in the WWF. The Stalker came about somwhere in 1996 or so, when Taylor was long gone from an active career.
So there I am, Googling for some TV nostalgia. Specifically, I'm looking for audio to go with an animated .GIF I saw on X-Entertainment.com's Christmas page: So I eventually find a RealVideo version of that classic on 80's TV Themes's CBS page...
