Last night when Eugene said "Ricky Steamboat" right before he gave Regal the Arm drag, I thought one thing. GIVE EUGENE THE DAMIEN 666 GIMMICK!. I mean, the one where he steals famous wrestlers moves after shouting out their name. It'll get the crowd into it, and since Dinsmore is a decent wrestler, he can pull off alot of the moves convincingly.

I dunno, There's a good amount. Hogan's legdrop, Macho Man Elbow, People's Elbow, Rock Bottom, Stunner, F-5 and Jackhammer (if he can pull both off).Hell, he could even safely rip off Smackdown! superstars with the Tombstone, Worm, Stinkface, Frog Splash, etc. He could imitate RAW superstars but that would probably lead to him getting his behind handed to him by Trips.

I expect that a big part of Eugene's in-ring character will be using other wrestlers' well-known moves. It just goes so well with his already demonstrated knowlege of wrestling history. Of course, I suspect there will be a comedic spin on the moves he "steals". When he does the people's elbow, he'll likely over-do it somehow... go too far with it. That will probably be how some heel defeats him down the road, by taking advantage of his excitement, like how people generally take Scotty Too Hotty out while he's showboating before he does the (dreaded!) worm.

Considering he's already credited and then used the Bushwhackers power walk (and face-licking) and Steamboat armdrag, I think they'll go with this gimmick for Eugene.
As afraid as I was of the trainwreck possibilities for this character, I have to admit I'm enjoying it.
Star wipe, and...we're out.

At this point, don't fix what isn't broken. Eugene is shaping up to be a popular mid-card act. Now if his pops start dying off, they could change things, but let's see how the match with Conway plays out.
