Wow, that didn't last too long! (wwe.com)

I won't miss him. He didn't seem to bring anything new to the table.

I'm just wondering, will this be the start of the latest round of cuts?

You lose by 1 hour (The W) but I'll leave it up because it probably DOES deserve its own thread.

I actually gave him till March. This is one of those few times where I don't feel sorry for the one released, as there was no potential there.

I thought he'd at least get a second shot on ECW, but no such luck for him. I won't miss him, though. Just wish he could have taken Vicki with him.

Today's Observer site update said "More WWE releases are expected. Eric Escobar being the first." so... maybe?

Prediction: Mike Knox is next.

Vicki is truly awesome but the Escobar thing really marginalized her and now she's just HAHA A WOMAN IS FAT. I hope she plays a major part in the Jericho/Edge feud and gets back to where she was as an important, effective heel in 2008. I don't mean by getting together with Jericho. Maybe he can walk her dog.

I can't believe Tyler Reks has lasted longer than Escobar.

A loser-leaves-town match would have been appreciated and given the heel victor a small boost (Ziggler, maybe.)

Yeah, you'd think they'd do something like that more often after they know they'll future-endeavor someone. (Well, not TOO often, lest they lose their luster, but still, some way to write off characters makes sense.)

THough most of the time the guys that get released are very low on the card or not on tv at all.

But if they release a lot of guys, a battle royale would be fun. Winner gets to keep their job, the rest is gone

They did that in WCW!

It wasn't much good.

It led to Chavo Guerrero selling Amway for weeks.

Considering how easy these polls have been to defeat in the past, I'd say it is probably just someone throwing the poll. //edit : wget -O - "http://application.wwe.com/mod-cgi/upe/?PO_ID=1644&Action=Vote&POA_ID=2" .
