Yes, it IS too early to start think about this, but HOLY SHIT, has anyone heard this yet? It's fucking incredible!

Cheesy europop eighties group Erasure has done an album of all covers that they like and not a single one sucks. Here's the track listing for those interested...

Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel
Everybody's Got To Learn Sometime - The Korgis
Make Me Smile (Come Up And See Me) - Steve Harley
Everyday - Buddy Holly
When Will I See You Again - Three Degrees
Walking In The Rain - The Ronettes
True Love Ways - Buddy Holly(again... yeah)
Ebb Tide - Righteous Brothers
Can't Help Falling In Love - Elvis
You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' - Righteous Brothers(again!)
Goodnight - *Not sure, but I know I've heard this before*
Video Killed The Radio Star - The Buggles

The Beatles song, from the White Album?

Anyway, I haven't heard it, but it sounds like fun.

No, not the Beatles. I think a woman originally sang it, but that was my first guess.

Buffy Saint-Marie.

The original press release from Mute, which has a blurb about each individual track and how Vince and/or Andy selected it for inclusion has been reposted several places, including here (erasure.org) and here (gayagenda.com).

You are a god CRZ... thanks, now I can go hear the original again. I think I mentioned this to you before, but it seems that we have no lives... Anyways, Thanks.

Touchee, but I get paid during the week when I'm on from work. *CompanyX* does me quite well with the liquid lunches and laptop... NOT that I'm an alcoholic or anything, I just hate my job so I drink... yeah... anyways, I think I should get some sleep now.

I've been listening to way too much of "This Charming Man", and was curious as to what Johnny Marr played, guitar/effect-wise, back when the Smiths recorded that album. Well, Google was useless.
