My old guy band, the Miserable Space Cowboys, played the famous Zukini Halloween party- the social event of the year for we old folk in Richmond- Saturday night and it was as astoundingly fun as it is every year. We did Styx-Buzzcocks and here is "Mr Roboto" that my friend Mark put on his youtube thingy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Glij-RKI3O4
(I'm the lumbering lummox to the right of the man singing. I sang all the Buzzcocks songs and Richard sang all the Styx songs. It was raucous.)
Here are some more thoughts from a demented mind in Central Florida: My sole complaint? Needs more Dean, and needs more Dean drinking beer.
Otherwise, truthfully? I wasn't expecting much when I clicked the link, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. Bravo, sir. Bra. Vo.
(And it's shocking how much, from that camera angle and in that lighting, that the Miserable Space Cowboys' keyboardist looks like FLRockAndLaw. Funny, I don't think I got drunk, passed out, and ended up in Richmond playing keyboards...)
Why yes, I am both a musician and a lawyer. Thanks for asking. :)
