The Wire and The Shield get The Shaft.

At least Breaking Bad was noted for Bryan Cranston's work.

Wow. 30 Rock has 4 of the 5 Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series and 3 of the 6 Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series nominees, plus Baldwin and Fey in the lead actor/actress categories.

It's nice to see that the Emmy votes enjoy some of FX, but where was the love for It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? That show covered dumpster babies, the Mafia, the Eagles, hostage situations, masturbating bums, Ecstasy, and how to treat the retarded. All in just one season.

"Day Man" needed its own category of awesome.

It is the policy of the documentary crew to remain true observers and not interfere with its subjects.

It was great to see love for Pushing Daisies. Definitely my favorite new show and possibly my favorite overall. I'm especially glad Kristen Chenoweth was nominated.

I just frown that it got 12 nods but not Best Comedy. Shame.

Once again 30 Rock gets WAY too much love for a show that absolutely sucks, and once again Jenna Fischer gets the shaft. I swear to god if a Desperate Housewhore, Ugly Untalented Betty or Tina Fey get the Emmy instead, I'm adding another hole in my wall next to the "Michigan-Ohio State 2008" special.

This post may seem a bit too angry but I was just put in a bad mood right before reading that list.

I also think that '30 Rock' is way too overrated. Whenever I watch the show it always feels a little forced, but maybe it just isn't my style of comedy.

John Adams was good, but I hardly found it to be great. I imagine or maybe just hope a lot of those are for costumes, makeup and set design.

I am happy that Dwight from The Office got a nomination, and also Ben from Lost getting a nod makes me a little happy as well.

Outstanding Guest Actor/Actress is a dumb category. Is this new?

I'm really rooting for Antiques Roadshow to win Best Reality Program.

Outstanding Drama? I can only hope.

It is not, dating back to the 70's.

J-Fisch definitely should've been nominated, even moreso last year, but she would've been up for supporting. Against, like, Vanessa Williams and a sketch comedienne.

Edit: oh, she I guess was nominated last year. and lost to Jaime Pressly's caricature. shame.

Saw this last night. WOW! Action Packed! It was the first movie I've seen in a while where I didn't know who was the bad guy and who was the good guy until the last ten or fifteen minutes of the film. Shai Lebouf was fantastic in his role.
