Man, talk about a bad day (msnbc.msn.com) for the Edwards family. No matter what your feelings may be for John Edwards, it's never a good thing when someone is diagnosed with cancer.

The Edwards family already had one massive tragedy when their son was tragically killed. I hope that they do not suffer another.
Godspeed to them...

The good news is that they seem to have caught it early, so chances for recovery are much higher. Best wishes to Mrs. Edwards and her family.

That is really sad news. Hopefully, as Big Bad said, they caught it early enough so that they can fully treat it.
Best wishes to Elizabeth Edwards and the entire family.

|Breast cancer is so scary. Just lost an aunt to it after everyone seemed sure she'd beat it.
It's a situation I hope trumps any feelings someone may have for the family politically. God bless them through this troubled time.

In my country until 5-6 months ago, we had mandatory military service. When you turned 18 you had to register in a military center, if you didn't registered you risked a few years in jail.
