Punk vs. Rock. I would like to think Punk would get it back but it is going t be Rock to set up Rock/Cena II
Cena/Ryback/Sheamus vs. The Shield. The Shield NEEDS the win here or they are going to head down the Nexus path of destruction. I would love to see a clean pin on Cena, but I feel Lesnar interferes, lays out Ryback and the Shield wins and we head towards Ryback/Lesnar.
Kaitlyn vs. Tamina. Tamina. Why? Why not?
ADR vs. The Big Show. Meh. I really do not like either of them now, but I will take ADR to win and end the feud.
Elimination Chamber #1. Jericho only because I can not see him coming back to be in a lesser feud. Jericho to win, face ADR and Ziggler in a triple threat that they should put on last becuase it will be awesome.
Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz. Cesaro. They are not pushing the Miz as a wrestler, why start now?
Clay/Tensai vs. Rhodes/Scholar. Clay/Tensai only because of the crowd pleasing dancing that will come after the pin.
(edited by Wpob on 13.2.13 0806) Life is hilariously cruel.
(edited by Big Bad on 13.2.13 0905) "It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone." --- Bart Giamatti, on baseball
Man, if it wasn't that Vince wasn't so dead set on Cena vs. Rock II (not that I blame him), the booking is so perfectly set up for Punk to screw the Rock out of the title via shenanigans. (Shield attack on Punk would do fine)
Either way ... Rocky retains
Del Rio retains
Randy Orton wins via some sort of heel turn though I don't know how they'll do it
Team Faces over the Shield
The Miz upsets Cesaro and the Internet gets peeved
The Rock vs. C.M. Punk, WWE Championship Match - If Rock is Counted-Out or Disqualified, Punk wins the title: I can't imagine Punk getting the title back, because then you have to question why they bothered to end the 434-day title reign to begin with. Rock prevails and we end up with Rock/Cena II (or a possible three-way, if it turns out that UT really can't go).
Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show, World Heavyweight Championship Match: ANGRY Big Show's temper is going to get the better of him. ADR retains by DQ.
Elimination Chamber Match to Determine #1 Contender to the World Championship: This company would be nuts not to ride the hot hand. Mark Henry, all the way!
John Cena & Ryback & Sheamus vs. The Shield: I'm going to take a big shot in the dark here, based on the end of the Rumble match. Sheamus turns on Ryback, setting up a Wrestlemania match. The Shield win.
Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka, Divas Championship Match: The Divas division is such a farce. Kaitlyn wins.
Rock retains the title Cesaro over Miz Jericho wins the Chamber Kaitlyn retains Del Rio over Big Show The Shield HAS to have a trick up their sleeve... so I'll pick them. Rhodes Scholars FOR THE WIN in the pre-show. I thought they'd split up?
THE SHIELD vs. CENA/SHEAMUS/RYBACK Winner: Cena/Sheamus/Ryback
ALBERTO DEL RIO vs. THE BIG SHOW Winner: Alberto Del Rio
ELIMINATION CHAMBER, w JERICHO vs. MARK HENRY vs. JACK SWAGGER vs. ORTON vs. KANE vs. DANIEL BRYAN Winner: Mark Henry
KAITLYN vs. TAMINA Winner: Kaitlyn
Thoughts: * Lesnar has to get involved somewhere, somehow, right? Or can he not, given his appearances remaining? What's he got left? * As much as it pains me, because the Shield needs the win, I know better than to bet against Cena. * For the Chamber, I gotta say: Those predicting Swagger are insane. The guy doesn't have it, this is a last circle of the drain before it's over with that guy. I'd be eager to pick Jericho here, but that makes too many part-timers at the top of the Mania card. I gotta go with Henry, as he left his reign at the top too soon and he's come back eager to reclaim it.
Brock signed a new deal, so he won't be on as borrowed time as he seemingly had been.
I think Rock will win, with some kind of attempt by Punk of cheesing the DQ stipulation thwarted by Vince. Do we know if Undertaker is going to work Wrestlemania this year? If not, I can almost see them adding Punk to Rock/Cena.
I expect the babyfaces to win the six-man tag, and Kaitlyn to retain her title.
I wonder when they plan on having Ziggler cash in MitB, and if they might do it here. I think they might put that off unti Wrestlemania, however, and have Del Rio retain and Mark Henry wins in the Chamber.
Between this and the story about Vince stopping a match because he was bored and wanted to start the bikini contest, it seems to me like they're just taking Crash TV to the house shows in an attempt to revitalize business.
