Where it all begins...again. The prediction season, that is!

The Rock vs. C.M. Punk, WWE Championship Match - If Rock is Counted-Out or Disqualified, Punk wins the title: Yeah, even with the stips, Rocky retains. Perhaps a Heyman interference backfires, taking things a step further from last night's evil look Punk gave while hugging Heyman.

Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show, World Heavyweight Championship Match: After two Last Man Standing Matches, a regular one-on-one match seems a little ordinary. And backwards booked. Del Rio wins to retain.

Elimination Chamber Match to Determine #1 Contender to the World Championship: I think Mark Henry wins, but after last night's Raw, I've seen some people suggesting Jack Swagger, since his "new" character seems on a collision course with Del Rio at some point.

John Cena & Ryback & Sheamus vs. The Shield: The babyfaces vanquish The Shield, but I really don't know where that leaves the Shield.

Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka, Divas Championship Match: I could see Tamina winning, but I'll go with Kaitlyn to continue her reign.

EDIT:

Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz, United States Championship Match: I could totally see Miz winning here in a further attempt by WWE to do everything in their power to get Miz over as a face. But in the end, I see Cesaro winning.

Rock wins, no questions asked.
Del Rio wins, but is blindsided by a Dolph cash-in. I actually like the booking leading to a straight-up match - Del Rio has bested the giant in anything-goes circumstances, but it's a lot harder to beat Big Show when you have to pin or submit him without the aid of a table or duct tape.
Jericho wins the Chamber to set up Dolph/Jericho for the title at WrestleMania. Del Rio's rematch with Dolph on SmackDown is ruined by Swagger, setting up Del Rio/Swagger as well.
The Shield wins to set up Orton/Sheamus/Ryback as their opponents at WM.
Kaitlyn retains, AJ gets the shot at WM.

The Rock vs. C.M. Punk, WWE Championship Match - If Rock is Counted-Out or Disqualified, Punk wins the title: PUNK wins, because then they can do Triple Threat at Wrestlemania due to no knowing if the Undertaker is available.

Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show, World Heavyweight Championship Match: Dellllllllllllllllllll RRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOO. Seriously, not sure if anyone noticed, but the crowd does the announcing with Ricardo.

Elimination Chamber Match to Determine #1 Contender to the World Championship: SOMEONE'S GONNA GET THEIR WIG SPLIT (Henry wins).

John Cena & Ryback & Sheamus vs. The Shield: The Shield wins.

Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka, Divas Championship Match: Kaitlyn wins.

Rocky.
ADR.
Jericho.
Cena/Ryback/Shaemus
What? A diva's match you say? Yes, because there has been so much buildup to it. Kaitlyn wins?

Side bet: ADR barely vanquishes Show just for Ziggler to cash in and win. Setting up Ziggles v. Jericho at WM.

I like your card. I especially like rolling three top babyfaces into a Shield match, where Orton could start the once-teased split with Sheamus instead of getting them to a turn or at least a babyface match in six weeks. Saves room on the card for the deep roster, and gets Shield in a high-profile match instead of taking on an impromptu midcard face army a la the Corre in 2011.

I just don't think Del Rio's title picture time is ending anytime soon. Then again, Dolph has no match on the PPV, so he could be lying in the weeds for a cash in.

Where do Mark Henry and Big Show go from there though? WSM's Stone Cold turn and a role reversal feud?

Hmm. I'm still going to guess Henry winning the Chamber, no cash-in, and

Cena vs. Rock for the WWE Title
Undertaker vs. Punk
HHH vs. Lesnar
Del Rio vs. Henry for the World Title
Sheamus vs. Orton
Jericho vs. Ziggler
Ryback vs. Big Show
Hell No vs. two Shield for the Tag Titles
Rey vs. Swagger
Miz vs. Cesaro for the U.S. Title
Dallas vs. Barrett for the IC Title (unless Bo's push is mercy killed by then and they put Christian back on TV)
R-Boom vs. Rhodes Scholars: one night only reunions YouTube dream match

Did I do it? Did I get everybody? :-/ 12 matches plus a women's match obligation ... either it's single digit Wrestlemania style rush jobs or I need to compress some stuff.

Or we can try it your way.

Cena vs. Rock for the WWE Title
Undertaker vs. Punk
HHH vs. Lesnar
Del Rio vs. Swagger (w/ Zeb Coulter)
Jericho vs. Ziggler - one of these for the World Title
Ryback/Sheamus/Orton vs. Shield in an LOD vs. NOD memorial street fight
Henry vs. Big Show
Rey/Sin Cara vs. Hell No for the Tag Titles
Miz vs. Cesaro for the U.S. Title
Dallas vs. Barrett for the IC Title (unless Bo's push is mercy killed by then and they put Christian back on TV)

If they really want to a)protect Undertaker's old bones and b)compress the card, HHH/Undertaker (titanic rivals unite!) taking on Team Heyman (Punk and Brock) is a fresh match, gets UT on the card, and provides a handy-dandy way for HHH to get his win back without beating Brock one-on-one. Pluuuus Brock can turn face by destroying Punk after the decision.

My instinct is that they wouldn't water down the streak in a tag match, but it's unique circumstances (HHH must protect the streak he died trying to break? internal conflict!!!) and the storylines do all line up. Plus there was the talk that they'd protect Taker at WM26 by doing Undertaker & Kane vs. Nexus.

You know, the more I think about this, the more I like it. Not doing a singles match hurts the legacy and the standard of the streak, but ignoring that there hasn't been a top of the card tag team match in modern Wrestlemania, a tag would have a lot of things going for it.

- protects Undertaker
- elevates Punk's stature by putting him in a match with three legends (despite inevitable internet teeth-gnashing that he's just there to do the job)
- continues four-year long UT/DX streak storyline instead of jump-starting a "respect!"/streak angle in one or two shows
- integrates Taker/Punk into a wider scope instead of jump-starting a "respect!"/streak angle in one or two shows
- no HHH/Lesnar singles rematch and no Lesnar job
- step 1 in eventual Punk/Lesnar break-up and match
- For The First Time Ever, the streak could end without Undertaker being pinned
- Triple H must protect the streak he died trying to break? internal conflict!!!
- Shawn Michaels, whose arm Lesnar broke, in Team End Of An Era's corner to counter Paul
- twenty year anniversary of MegaManiacs vs. Money, Inc

And for all those reasons, it'll be awesome if Hunter turns on Taker to join Team Heyman. The streak ends, we get a fresh evil GM angle, Vince can come back as the conquering hero behind Cena, and Taker's last angle is his revenge and making Hunter/Heyman REST IN PEACE.

I like Mr Cochran's WrestleMania plans of UT/HHH vs Punk/Brock, Ziggler/Jericho for the WHC and Del Rio/Swagger. I'd much rather watch that show than the one I think we'll wind up with.

Chamber Predictions!

Rock/Punk - Maybe Heyman inadvertently costs Punk the match, maybe Rock wins clean with the Rock Bottom. Either way, Rock walks away with the title and moves onto Cena.
Winner - Rock

Smackdown Chamber Match - Orton seems like an obvious pick but then Jericho could easily win it too. Before Monday, I wouldn't have even considered the possibility of Swagger winning it but his new gimmick does feel tailor-made as a foil to Del Rio's 'Mexican Hero' shtick. And then there's Henry...
Winner - Henry (but any of the aforementioned guys winning wouldn't surprise me)

Big Show/Del Rio - Del Rio wins here. The real question is whether Ziggler cashes in after the match or not. I don't think he will. I think he's saving it as his way into the WrestleMania WHC match.
Winner - Del Rio

Shield/Cena & Ryback & Sheamus - I think they'll keep the Shield dominant until Wrestlemania where a threesome will finally get the better of them. Sheamus eats the pinfall after nefarious cheating on the Shield's part.
Winner - Shield

Kaitlyn/Tamina - Kaitlyn only won the title a month or so ago so I don't see her losing it here.
Winner - Kaitlyn

Edited to add: Miz over Cesaro to set up the WrestleMania rematch and Clay/Tensai over Rhodes Scholars.

Bonus Speculative WrestleMania Card!

I think we'll wind up with...

Cena/Rock - WWE Title
Del Rio/Henry/Swagger/Ziggler - WHC
Punk/Undertaker
HHH/Brock - No Holds Barred
Shield/Orton & Sheamus & Jericho
Ryback/Big Show
Kane/Bryan
Cody/Goldust
Cesaro/Miz - US Title
Barrett/Christian - IC Title
Kaitlyn/AJ - Divas Title
Pre-Show Battle Royal with Mysterio, Sin Cara, Ryder, Brodus, Tensai, Sandow, Primo, Epico, Prime Time Players, 3MB, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Khali, Kofi, R-Truth, Santino and Riley

The Rock vs. C.M. Punk, WWE Championship Match - If Rock is Counted-Out or Disqualified, Punk wins the title: I'm going to say Punk wins through someone attacking The Rock, setting up a triple-threat at WM.

Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show, World Heavyweight Championship Match: Del Rio

Elimination Chamber Match to Determine #1 Contender to the World Championship: I'll say Jericho here. I think they're going toward a second triple-threat match -- Jericho gets the WM main event against Del Rio but Ziggler uses his MITB to add himself as the third participant.

John Cena & Ryback & Sheamus vs. The Shield: The Shield.

Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka, Divas Championship Match: Kaitlyn.

Antonia Cesaro vs. The Miz: The Miz.

Tensai/Broadus Clay vs. Team Rhodes Scholars: Dancing Hippos.

Punk/Rock - WWE title - Rock didn't win the belt just to hold it for a month. He won it to hold it for two and a half months, dammit!

ADR/Big Show - ADR wins, with the Ziggler cash-in coming on Smackdown after Jack Swagger jumps Del Rio for not looking like Dutch Mantell.

Elimination Chamber to determine #1 contender - Jericho, since Ziggler's backstage chatter on RAW seemed to be setting up Jericho/Ziggy for Wrestlemania. Plus, Jericho would finally win a big, meaningful match for the first time in a while, which couldn't hurt him. I'd personally prefer Mark Henry, but I'd almost always prefer Mark Henry.

Shield versus Miracle Babyface Connection - Is this straight tag or elimination (or in the chamber)? Still not entirely clear. Cena wins, regardless (yes, he gets all the credit, even if Sheamus or Ryback make the pin).

Kaitlyn/Tamina - I had no idea this was happening. Kaitlyn.

Rock wins. That's not to say Punk won't get in to the WM title match SOMEHOW, if Taker can't go. I just always think it's safer to bet on the established plan. They'll have over a month to figure out something.

Del Rio wins. Ziggler cashes in after and wins. (I'm going to keep predicting this until it happens.)

Jericho wins the Chamber.

The Shield match is hard to predict. I'm going to say Cena's team wins, because it's tough to bet against him. That's really my only reasoning, though. Not sure how they get Shield's heat back afterward.

Kaitlyn wins.

Two more matches added:
Clay/Tensai over Rhodes Scholars
Cesaro over Miz

The Rock vs. C.M. Punk, WWE Championship Match - If Rock is Counted-Out or Disqualified, Punk wins the title: I think it defeats the purpose of giving The Rock the title last month to take it off of him on this PPV. The whole mentality of doing Rock/Cena II is $$$ and it really takes away from the rematch to take the belt off of The Rock here. He needs a stronger win over CM Punk (one where Punk doesn't pin him in the middle of the match) than the Rumble win, and I thought that's why they were doing this match here. Rock retains, unless they're really overthinking WrestleMania.

Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show, World Heavyweight Championship Match: Del Rio wins to end the feud and keep his momentum going. I don't think Ziggler cashes in until WrestleMania, which will make all of the waiting with the briefcase worth it in the end to make his win more special.

Elimination Chamber Match to Determine #1 Contender to the World Championship: Yeah, Henry or Swagger here. Swagger is a better foil for Del Rio, but Henry is really killing it, too. Maybe it winds up being a triple threat somehow which weakens Del Rio for Ziggler's cash-in after he beats the two heels?

Either way, I think the Elimination Chamber format favors Henry going over strong here, so that's what I'll call: Henry wins.

John Cena & Ryback & Sheamus vs. The Shield: The Shield wins to give them some heat back. Although, with CM Punk's reign over, maybe The Shield has no place in WWE anymore and we sew the seeds for their inevitable breakup. Tough call. You know what? I'm changing my mind mid-paragraph. The faces win here. Cena/Ryback/Sheamus.

Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka, Divas Championship Match: Tamina wins.

WrestleMania:

I think WWE should keep on the Rock/Cena II track and not complicate it by doing a triple threat.

I really like the idea of a tag match. If Undertaker's WM19 handicap win counts in favor of the streak, I don't think a tag match does much to mess it up. Undertaker/HHH-Brock/Punk would be great and would allow for Taker to participate on the card without risking his health too much so he can have a bigger match at WMXXX. I hope he doesn't sit this one out, but it's happened before.

But, yeah, some variation of Undertaker/Punk and HHH/Lesnar.

Del Rio vs Henry vs Swagger for the World Title. Ziggler cashes in after the match.

Ziggler vs Jericho.

Bryan vs Kane to determine who is the Tag Team Champions. Winner gets to pick his partner (similar to Sting vs Giant at Slamboree 1998)

Cody vs Goldust.

Barrett vs Dallas for the IC Title.

Ryback vs Big Show (although maybe Henry or Swagger gets moved here).

Cesaro vs Miz for the US Title (Pre-Show).

The Rock vs. CM Punk - I'm going to say Punk wins the title back because I'm not sure what the point of the new stipulation is other than to help Punk win the title.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show - Del Rio wins and then Ziggler cashes in the Money in the Bank and wins. Ziggler has to be on the card in some way doesn't he?

Elimination Chamber - Jericho wins to set up Ziggler vs. Jericho

John Cena/Ryback/Sheamus vs. The Shield - The Shield has to win if the WWE wants them to remain important.

Kaitlyn vs. Tamina - Kaitlyn

WWE.com is now saying that the Rhodes Scholars will team up again for one night only to take on Brodus/Tensai in a pre-show match. If Rhodes Scholars aren't back together permanently then there is no reason to think they'll win so I'll go with Brodus/Tensai.

Wrestlemania Speculation:
A tag team match makes a lot of sense for Undertaker's match at Wrestlemania but I think Brock/HHH is perfectly fine as a single's match. Instead I'd pair Taker with Team Hell No against the Shield. Bryan does most of the work but Taker gets the pinfall on Reigns. I don't think one of the Shield members losing to Taker at Wrestlemania makes them look bad.

Edited to add: I'll say The Miz with the upset over Cesaro to set up a WM rematch that Cesaro will win. It's not like the WWE cares enough about the US title to not hot-shot it back and forth like that.
