- elimination chamber for the vacant IC title - elimination chamber for the tag team titles (?!?!) - a John Cena appearance - a Heavyweight title defense
That's probably a better show than the one they're doing Sunday.
There was a late-night rewrite on that article. Last night it read "John Cena will defend the U.S. title." I guess they figured that was a spoiler for Payback (even though it isn't really when it comes to Cena).
They're calling this a "pay-per-view," even though it isn't on pay-per-view. I know they dabbled with calling these shows "specials" when the network first launched, but they really need a name for the big shows now. "Blockbuster event" maybe?
Well, at least it halts the awkwardness of a vanilla fourway three weeks before those exact same guys and Kane in a balls out to the walls out armageddon structure.
Let's jokingly entertain the idea that there will be six teams and see how far we get. Real Canadians, NEW DAY, Wyatts (Harpers?) ... Prime Time Players, Megapowers, Ascension. Yeah, let's stick to three. Or let's jokingly entertain the idea that the six will be Langston, Kofi, Woods, Cesaro, Kidd, and Nattie.
Normal (not Rumble/WM/Summerslam) shows are around 40,000, give or take 20K. Though the reason this show wouldn't be on standard PPV is because it's a late addition to the schedule.

You could add the Lucha Dragons instead of the MegaPowers if you were to go the 6 team route.
We're going to see some interesting new spots introduced if we get the Dragons and Neville added to these matches. I don't think any of the big-time high-flyers have ever worked this kind of match, aside from maybe Jeff Hardy waaaaaaaay back when the concept was first introduced.
Chamber Tag needs to be six full teams with 13 guys crammed into six pods. New Day should be the last out of their chamber so all three of them have to spend 15 minutes squashed into a pod trying to clap and not use up all the oxygen.
