It's not a bad guess to expect WWE to use the Elimination Chamber at this year's Survivor Series PPV since it's been two years (although it's only speculation on my part). The question then becomes, who stands in the wings for such a match right now?
...on the RAW side, Randy Orton and Triple H are obvious. Kane and Shawn Michaels as well. Benoit fits in just fine. So who's the sixth man?
I don't see Jericho moving away from the IC belt to the World Title so soon... so I would rule him out. Either Edge or Shelton Benjamin would be my best guesses.
...on the Smackdown side, it's a little easier. JBL, Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Eddy Guerrero, John Cena, and Big Show could all belong in the match, given their current roles. (I see Booker T keeping the US Title, and Cena moving up to the main event soon)
I think it would be a Raw event either. If you throw all those Smackdown guys in one match then they are pretty much forced to use Haas, RVD, Rey, London, Bashams, FBI to have som more matches. And while I would like to see those guys, I don't think it's going to happen.
SHelton would be a good choice for the Chamber, just to give him a push. But I don't know. If neither Edge or Jericho is going to be in it then they almost have to still be feuding or they won't have anything to do. So to change it up a little I think maybe they will go with Shelton teaming up with whoever ends up face in the feud teaming against Christian and whoever ends up the heel.
So who would be the sixth guy? Batista? People are starting to like him. He could be in there to add something to Triple H vs. Orton depending on whose side he is on at that point. Also every time him and Kane go toe to toe the crowd seems to pop for it, maybe they can actually book a good monster vs monster matchup at Royal Rumble or WM, and start building for it here.
Wow! Sounds like a killer show... in some ways, even better than we get to see on Monday night television! It's always fun to interact with the wrestlers, too. One time I was at a Nitro show, in which Scott Hall won the U.S. Title.
