So, my dad and a few of his former co-workers have a bit of a startup going, and in lieu of rent payments I'm doing some work on their website.

However, I need to edit the .swf menu they've got, and my web design skills are pretty much limited to HTML.

Here's the file:

I've got a copy of Macromedia Flash MX, but damned if I know what to do with it. Basically, I just need to remove the three menu items that expand from "business focus," and replace them with one, "data in motion."

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Your link didn't work.

That said, you either have to reverse engineer the menu from the .swf file, or you need to get a hold of the original source file for the swf.

I've had decent luck using some of the apps to reverse engineer flash files, but they almost always miss a few important elements (sound files, animations out of order, etc).

Good luck.

Willful ignorance of science is not commendable. Refusing to learn the difference between a credible source and a shill is criminally stupid.

You'd buy a $500 computer for a $1000 piece of software? The greatest thing about this is it could actually happen. The specs are pretty consistent with the $799 eMac, and Apple has always overpriced monitors.
