Tough for Kane to get hurt right after coming back, but since he has just come back and they haven't put him in anything he can't be taken out from (unlikely to make the main event, and no one would really miss the tag team title match), so it's hard to say he'd be missed.
Edge is probably a bigger miss, because they've put in so much effort in building him up, but they've got a ready made reason (Matt kills him) and if he doens't need surgery, he'll be back in plenty of time to cash in the MItB title shot.
