He succumbed to leukemia this morning. I thought he was one of the better "60 Minutes" reporters, and had seemingly been with them forever.

I enjoyed his style and never felt he thought he was more important than the story. I also got the feeling he got a kick out of interviewing artists. He had a great interview with Miles Davis many years ago.

And he was the voice of "Jazz from Lincoln Center" on public radio.

I picked up my copy yesterday. While it wasn't the COMPLETE collection, as I thought it would be, 129 shorts certainly isn't anything to sneeze at. You get vintage panther, with cartoons dating from 1964 to 1980.
