I was trying to find a couple tickets to the ECW PPV and apparently all the good seats are gone already. I found 1 ticket available on the floor. The only tickets with 2 together was standing room only.
update from pwinsider.com boy they do great reporting! joke joke TICKETMASTER SNAFU ANGERS ECW FANS by Mike Johnson @ 11:25:00 AM on 4/15/2006
We've received a number of angry emails from fans due to a snafu this morning with Ticketmaster's website putting ECW One Night Stand PPV tickets on sale 15 minutes late. While tickets began to be sold at the Hammerstein Ballroom box office and physical Ticketmaster outlets at exactly 10 AM, fans trying to purchase them online were left out of the cold for well over 15 minutes.
By the time online fans were able to buy their seats, as one reader stated, "...by then all the good seats were gone because people got them in person. By 10:16, there were only a few stray single seats in the good sections."
Same thing happened to me. I ended up calling on the phone to get 'em. Couldn't get 3 seats together, so we got 2 and one in another section - good seats, though.
ya, im from connecticut and must of the people over here get whole of tickets also. Hammerstein Ballroom is not really that big, so them tickets sell out too easily. Imagine if WWE had ECW in madison square garden if they could afford it lol, that be just crazy.
I think those that actually exert the effort to physically be there when the tickets go on sale deserve preference over someone just getting on a computer before 10am (especially considering that there had to be some people that made a long drive to be there). However, if they say they'll be available online at 10:00am, they should go on sale at 10:00am.
