I don't know how many of you have seen this, but this program did more to excite me for this Sunday than anything I've seen yet, and I was at the Savvis Center on Monday.

I listened to most of the show last night, and it was surreal to hear Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, Stevie Richards and Bubba Dudley speak without any fear of punishment from WWE. Stevie even promised that fans would see the real Stevie Richards at Sunday's PPV as opposed to the watered down versions of the character that WWE has made him portray. The success of the PPV (just like the DVD) will probably prove that they have every right to be obnoxiously overconfident about ECW.

I finished listening to the program and Paul Heyman has got to be one of the best salesman in the world. If Vince lets him go after his contract expires he can always make a living for the Home Shopping Network. I was certain I was going to get the PPV before but after the show it really got me pumped.

By the way, I'm also looking forward to seeing Bubba Ray Dudley wrestle in a speedo this Sunday.

I liked the line about Sandman "snorting the uphostery".

That was the only moment of the whole show where Heyman kinda stutter-stepped anything.

But, yeah, I'm pretty excited about this. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Austin and Raven both show.

Raven is under contract with TNA, so I would put a lot of stock into him making an appearance.

I was thinking that Raven & Jerry Lynn could make suprise appearances, but overall I have serious doubts that Vince would let TNA guys on the show. On the other hand, I could easily see Austin make an appearance.

I agree with the rest of you that Heyman did a great job selling this PPV. The last 15 minutes with Heyman & Dreamer's hard-sells did more positive for this PPV than anything WWE has put on tv (imo).

Funny to see how little Heyman and Dreamer appear to care about keeping their jobs.

I have to say that was one hell of a show. Vince would be a fool to let Heyman go, but at the same time, it's not like Vince is using him for anything but a TV character. I want to know how in the hell Tommy Dreamer slept in a minivan with Ballz and Axl. There's not a lot of room in one of those things with those big uglies in there.

I found it interesting that Dreamer promised suprises live that wouldn't make the DVD. If there are appearances that they'll end up keeping off the DVD, I kind of hope they stick this Byte This on there instead.

I believe he is referring to the fact that pre-show/post-show, he and some of the other wrestlers will be cutting promos for the live (non-home) audience, not that anything during the PPV would be kept off. Basically the idea is that if you paid a couple hundred dollars for a ticket, you'll be getting some neat wrestler/fan interaction stuff that the people at home will not see.

If it would make Vince money, I don't think he cares who shows up. After seeing the recently fired Rhyno on Raw, I think anything could happen.

Does anybody know where I can find a full transcript of their appearance on Byte This? I cant find one.

I tried watching it last night, but I kept getting pictures & no sound, or vice-versa.

The same thing was happening to me. During the beginning of the show they were showing some Raw/ECW recaps without sound. The sound comes back right before they start the interview. My guess its just a wwe.com problem for everyone, not just you.

yeah, half of the opening vid didn't have sound. I had some moments where the screen just went grey, but I switched between regular and full screen mode and that fixed it up.

The show itself was surreal. I love Heyman ranting on Bischoff's phoned-in message to the ECW guys when he accused Heyman of claiming he made Austin, when Heyman said he said no such thing. "That is such a crock! That is a JBL promo written by Brian Gerwirtz trying to make it look like he's shooting on television!"

I mean they really didn't hold back at all, even addressing the Hardcore Homecoming show. It was just amazing and they need to get this on the DVD for One Night Stand.

Doesnt TNA have a clause with thier guys that they can work other shows, if a fee is paid to TNA? I am sure Vince would pay up if a big Raven pop was to be heard and money was to be made.

''There are four moments on this show that are absolute surprises,'' said Heyman. ``Only the participants in that individual particular scenario know, but they don't know the other ones. Those four are going to drop people to their knees. There's an old expression, `We'll sell you the seat, but you'll only need the edge of it.'

Paul Heyman should have his own talk show. He was so entertaining on Byte This. I'm glad I'm going to be watching the PPV after watching that.

My favorite- they tone in which he talked to the producer "Mr. Moncees"(sp).

I think if Heyman were to do colour on the theorized ECW brand show, I'd watch it just hear him.

What a great show. It's the first time I watched ByteThis and I was really entertained by ECW ByteThis.

Man, I was already looking forward to watch one night stand but with Heyman's promo...I just can't wait to watch this. Great job.

They bleeped NWA-TNA whenever it was mentioned. I guess they do see them as competition.

Also interesting to hear that Chris Masters hurt Stevie Richards again (apparently his knee at a house show).

They never mentioned TNA. Dreamer mentioned MLW, MECW, XPW, and the fourth one that was censored was "F-U-C-K". I have a feeling that that wasn't an actual promotion, though.

I believe the Rock is actually getting a vacation for a while. Alternating between wrestling and trying to rescue The Scorpion King has left him a little burned out. (I read this on 411). Not that I blame the guy.
