Let's talk about something very important.

Let's talk about Mike Knox.

This is the trademark Mike Knox pose. ALL THE KIDS ARE DOING IT.

Left arm: up over head
Right arm: out to the side

THE MIKE KNOX POSE.

What's so super great about the Mike Knox pose is after I totally go hog wild making sure Kim sees me imitating the pose and making it the biggest deal in the world...about five minutes later I totally forget about it. That is, until the NEXT time Mike Knox comes out, and I move to the edge of my seat, thinking "when will he will he will he YES he did the thing!"

So anyway:

Big Daddy V is SO BIG (how big is he?) he ALMOST completely blocked out that giant old lady in the front row who reacted to nothing.

I am sure I had something else I needed to get off my chest about this show but it's been a whole HOUR since it ended and all this stuff tends to be so unmemorable to me...

Oh, the SAVE_US.222 clip played again, so I guess we should note that. FLEA told me something about Jericho and a Myspace thing, but didn't send me the link. I HATE doing my own research, but chrisjericho.com still has this bit of "quick news..."

Sept 3 - Remember that I am NOT on Myspace. There are many pages claiming to be mine but they are all lying.

Also, he's going to be on VH-1's (ugh) "I love the 00's" - I didn't even think we'd settled on what to CALL this decade yet.

Oh I JUST remembered. Tommy Dreamer must have been really shocked at his bald spot last week for him to come out looking like a gypsy grandmother in the three way dance opening bout. He'll probably REALLY flip when he get back to look at the tape of THIS one because after that thing was knocked off...I mean, he looked more male pattern than Emeril, get my drift.

I did catch a few segments here and there, and Punk as champ is a breath of fresh air in comparison to Big Show, who would defend the title against guys from Smackdown and Raw, and Bobby Lashley, who would...never defend the title and lost it to Vince McMahon in a feud on Raw!

In conclusion I don't miss John Morrison's bland micwork at ALL, but I forgot to ever refer to ECW as "Tuesdays with Morri" out loud, but it's all a moot point anyway as Boston Legal started back up tonight, and thusly I probably won't be watching much of ECW anymore! Oh well!

My goodness is Kevin Thorn boring to watch. He takes a lot of time between moves and walks around like he's got an anchor tied to him. He really needs to get the lead out there.

Matt Striker equals goodness. "Look, he's a Big Daddy V fan!"

Joey: "What do you got when you can't use your hand?"
Tazz: "Another one."

This match was more entertaining than it should have been. I miss Striker's leg DDT and his nifty shin neckbreaker that used to be his finisher.

The sight of a Miz squash victory is damaging to one's notion of reality. Maybe we all need a Reality Check.

ECW is pretty entertaining right not. There's nothing too eye-rolling, and the wrestlers we got this week were putting in some decent effort.

Yeah - I pulled that on the fly from a headline at WO.com...which has since been corrected to:

Another hint regarding the new WWE debut on 10/7 looks to be a fake

Update on the update on the Jericho confirming coming back on his myspace page. The myspace page is believed to be a fake as Jericho posted on Sept. 3 he doesn't have a myspace account and all myspace accounts with his name are fakes.

I thought that the "Elimination Chase" matches have been surprisingly good so far, especially last week's 4-way, which somehow avoided being a boring clusterf*ck.

It went 19 minutes(!) and nothing happened except for THE BIG SCARY VAMPIRE NAMED Kevin doing some really awkward shit. Oh, and Burke popping in once in awhile to show how ridiculously better he is than Thorn.

Speaking of which...why did Burke throw Dreamer out of the ring to pin thorn? Since the whole thing was that the match had two winners (with only the loser being eliminated from the "Elimination Chase to No Mercy" which I kept hearing as "Elimination Chamber No Mercy"), why would Burke care whether he or Dreamer got the pin? And don't tell me it's because he wants to show he's better than Dreamer or because his character's a glory hound, because that's weak.

The MIKE KNOX THING is going to sweep this nation and single-handedly get all the kids off drugs. Teens won't be able to resist putting one arm up and one to the side. First you're going to start seeing it in music videos, then you're going to see Sway rockin' that shit during TRL, then you're going to see women doing it during touchy feely friendship scenes shown in the previews for Diane Keaton movies, and then it'll be killed dead when a Presidential candidate does it during his speech at a National Convention. But man, what a ride it's going to be. I LOVE MIKE KNOX THING!

SERIOUS TONE: If somebody can explain to me why Mike Knox was brought back - nay, why Mike Knox has a job in the first place, please do so. I mean, it's not like the guy's any good, and he'll NEVER be a star. Ever.

Kelly Kelly's attempt to show concern over an unconscious Balls Mahoney was the second funniest fucking thing I've ever seen (behind of course MKT as we're going to call what Mike Knox does because acronyms make things cooler that much quicker).

Punk/Striker was the main? What the shit? Man. I can't even say this show is bad, because really it's more like it might as well not even exist.

Unfortunately, that seems to be what they were doing. Burke brags about getting last week's pin, then he gets this week's pin so he can continue to gloat about it. Heels have been doing stuff like that since the dawn of time.

Monsoon and Heenan used to cover this up well for a heel, by talking about the winner getting a bigger paycheck.

That's still pretty good for Sci-Fi, Mayhem, so no worries on that front.

The negative is that WWE creative now has their excuse for when they decide to toke up and put the title back on Morrison.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

Halo 3.

I'd be surprised if anyone pulled good 18-30 Male numbers this week.

The numbers don't lie. I've seen upwards of 700,000 players online at one time on the multiplayer servers. And this isn't even counting solo players on the Campaign.

Yeah, the 18-30 male numbers will be nonexistent this week. Look for SmackDown! to take a hit, as well.

So I'm watching this match, which it's obvious from the start that Thorn is losing, so Burke can beat Dreamer next week... but here Dreamer slaps the Tejas Cloverleaf on Burke! (A swerve?) Now I always hate when people use submission holds in Triple Threats, because the third wheel invariable kicks you in the head. Except this *one time, the point of the match is NOT TO LOSE, so it finally makes sense.

No sooner do I say this to myself, Thorn comes back in, and kicks Dreamer in the head. Idiots.

In other news, I presumed that Mike Knox is back more because he's a warm, non-suspended body at the moment. The lack of acknowledging his history with Kelly Kelly tells me it's a bit of a fluke call-up, and Knox is pretty well on his own to somehow make himself worth an actual push. Which possibly explains the MIKE KNOX POSE?

Also a question: I've heard that the ECW writer is the one pushing Morrison down our throats, but would his duties involve booking Punk to look so weak against Striker? I mean, Striker didn't even get any help from Viz to get the upper hand on the "champ". So we get the typical "face gets his ass kicked for most of the match, until it's time to go home and he hits his finishing sequence" WWE special. Only I'm thinking that Big Daddy V is probably the one you want to make Punk look vulnerable, not his frikkin' manager. (Not that I dislike Striker, just commenting that the way he's been positioned of late, I think he got waaay more offense than he should have here.)

P.S. - I giggled when they used canned laughter on the Raw Rebound to try and make HHH's jokes sound funnier. I guess it technically worked with me

Welcome home, men of the 2nd Bn, 127th Inf, 32d "Red Arrow" Brigade, WI Army Nat'l Guard! Good luck to those down south.

FYI, the victim of The Miz's squash (I just threw up in my mouth a little bit), Silas Young, is the NWA Wisconsin heavyweight champion.

Here's the match...makes me cry inside. :-(

You'd have marked out if they'd have let Silas bust out "Zero Gravity"...one of the coolest moves in the biz. Anything that starts with a headstand on the top turnbuckle is guaranteed spectacular.

Silas'll be defending that NWA Wisconsin title October 19th in Menasha, WI, against either Mason Quinn or NWA Midwest X-Division champ "Too Phat" Jason Dukes (in which case, Duke's belt will also be on the line.)

Just out of curiosity, does NWA/WI's TV show mention or use the match on their show at all, or do you pretend it never happened? Also, is Silas a face or a heel?
