The opening was the Abraham Washington show.
Which had Shelton Benjimin scheduled until Zak Ryder comes out to be overly obnoxious. Eventually Shelton came out and said if he said what he wanted say they'd be kicked off of TV. So he started using the word Smurf. Yes, included with the description.
Which oddly enough lead to singing contest between the two which Zak got shown up and attacks Shelton.
Even Matt Striker got in on the Smurfing fun.
Results:
Match #1:
Ezekal Jackson d. "Dangerous" Danny Danger (Triple D?)
Lasts less than two minutes. Out come Koslov to prove he's better again. They both take shots on Danger and Jackson leaves without altercation.
In the back Tiffany is talking with the Bella Twins when a box on a audio truck starts to fall. A superhero makes the save while Paul Burchill says, "This is ridiculous".
Match #2:
"The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus d. Goldust
Afterward he gets on the mic saying he wants Gold but all they've given him is dust. Goldust attacks him.
Match #3:
"Extreme Rules Match"
Christian vs. Tommy Dreamer
Pretty basic extreme rules match. Few extra thrown in. Hot Dog stand and Kill Switch on the car door for the win by Christian.
Winner: Christian *defended title*
Not a bad show. Don't know where Ryder and Shelton are going.

Actually, Shelton was turned face by the two a-hole heels running him down before he came out. The look on his face when he finally came out was, "Did you two motherfuckers just turn me babyface?" What would Momma think?
Paul Birchill noticed the camera was there. Usually, that's a no-no. But maybe he was just expressing just his feelings on the Abraham Washington Show in the prior segment.
Normally, I'd complain about the PG lack of blood but the Extreme Rules match was very violent regardless. Christian came closer than comfortable to a Bob Holly situation with the welts on his back. Very good match between the two. I hope that ends the feud. And if Le Miz really is banned from RAW, the best thing for him would be to go to ECW and go right after Christian. (I can't believe I'm even remotely concerned about what's best for Le Miz.)

That was certainly the intent, but the live crowd wasn't having any of that segment - rightfully, and thankfully, not that that will stop anybody in Creative, who have gone on a real run of flabbergastingly short-sighted heel/heel interactions lately - the tag match at Night of Champions, having Chavo come out as a lumberjack, the Kozlov/Jackson nonsense* and now the Abraham Washington heel/heel/heel show. First I thought it was unfortunate, but now I'm starting to suspect they're just being this sloppy because they're genuinely clueless. (This is not a revelation to many, I'm sure, but I've been giving a lot of "benefit of a doubt" lately.)
*and how sad is it that they can take one shot of Ezekiel WALKING! and you and I can instantly know the entire contents of the next segment? Jackson squashes "150 pound" enhancement talent, Kozlov comes out and does something "impressive" to the same dude, they look at each other and JUST before they start to kiss, somebody leaves the ring. Hit the music! It's almost as bad as knowing that the segment AFTER that will be the next in the "Best of 7" series between Yoshi Tatsu and Shelton-- sorry, I mean Seamus and Goldust now. I'm starting to believe ECW is actually being booked by a sophisticated series of algorithms programmed into a Cray supercomputer (that is to say, from the 1970s).

Darius Rucker has inflections? I've only heard him sing the one note....
