Yes, friends - I'm talking about TJ WILSON debuting as ... "Tyson Kidd." And/or all the shocking pink Natalia added to her hair for.....some reason of some sort. Possibly.
OR maybe I'm talking about BAO NGUYEN! When was the last time a Vietnamese guy wrestled on WWE television? EVER? Unfortunately he didn't get enough offense in so the commentators could say BAO! BAO! BAO! And so on
I guess the most disappointing thing about Christian's debut was the fact that they went ahead and did a crappy reimagining of the perfectly fine theme he left with.
Also that REALLY scary silence in the middle of his promo (which will hopefully be interpreted as "people in the audience waiting in rapt attention for whatever he had to say," as opposed to "completely dying out there")
Was it just me or did that guy go through the KFC drive-thru about a DOZEN times and EVERY time he had to ask the SAME question because he KEPT FORGETTING THAT THE SECRET RECIPE STARTED AT ONLY 99 CENTS?!?!?! HAH???

Instead of - Matt Hardy as ECW Champion - Christian as the guy attacking Jeff (setting up Hardyz vs E&C)
the shocking surprise of - Christian as (future) ECW Champion - Matt Hardy as the guy attacking Jeff (setting up...)

Maybe that's why Christian is on WWE's C-show for a while

| #6 Posted on 10.2.09 2325.39 | For the first time in who knows how long, I watched a WWE program live.
Anyway, Christian coming back surprised me...as in going to ECW. The promo with Swagger was hilarious. I guess he could end up as the #1 or #1A face in ECW...but of course it could change.
Speaking of Swagger, he had the funniest moment. Coming to the ring, the belt drops to the floor, and it was LIVE too!!! Thanks to Finlay for mentioning it at the table during the main event.

Christian can fight Swagger at WM for the ECW title - better than Swagger/Finlay or Swagger/Dreamer - and eventually get moved over to SD in the 2009 draft lottery. (Or, you know, whenever they feel like it for reasons they don't have to give.) They've done worse to better. But given my hopes for Hardys vs. Edge & Christian at WM and a TLC rematch at Backlash, this blows.

I do like the idea of Morrison/Miz playing in the same sandbox with Christian. There should be a good series with Finlay. And there seems to be enough flexibility between ECW & SD for him to drop by & say hi to Edge. Still, a pretty bland way to bring back somebody who gets good buzz.
Strategically placed pink maple leaf. Doesn't quite go with the fire-snorting devil masks on the sides. Does this Tyson Kidd have some sort of speech impediment too? Not quite a lisp, but something about tees & esses. | CruelAngel777

I think he's just from Quebec.
I actually liked Christian's theme song.......cover? All this hype and he goes to the C show. Hopefully this is until the Draft comes up this year, as I really wanted him in a feud with either Hardy or better yet Edge.

Maybe they intend for him to be on Smackdown all along, but they wanted his debut to be a big surprise. If they had him debut on the Smackdown taping, then the news would have immediately gone out to all the internet wrestling sites and they end up with zero surprise for the television audience.

It's not like Candice is going to be using it on a regular basis. Of the Divas on Raw, only Beth Phoenix and Melina have finishers that they use regularly. Or maybe those are the only gals getting pins on anyone anyway.

On the other hand, there are definitely worse things to happen then having Christian come back to take Matt Hardy's spot on what is currently my favorite wrestling program. He did seem a little rusty, and the crowd wasn't helping anyone last night, but I think once he gets back in his groove this could wind up being pretty fun. | Spiraling_Shape

Christian gets to be the #1 face on the C show, as opposed to getting involved in the Hardys or his (ex) brother's storylines, or lost in the shuffle on the crowded RAW upper/mid card.
And Noble and the new Canadian can give us some cruiserweight fun too. But why is Natalya now an ECDub valet when she is capable of much more on SD!? Because her best friend retired? Because Maryse and Michelle are the 2 female heels over there?

With the debut of Tyson "TJ Wilson" Kidd and his being seconded by Nattie, I wonder if this now plants the seeds for the return of DH Smith and the long-rumored new generation of the Hart Foundation/Bulldogs ...
