"RVD Had to coexist with Holly". Replay of Bob's definition of irony... still as ironical as it was a week ago. RVD and Bob lost against Test, Show and a Gorilla (Heyman)
Let the bodies hit the floor!
TONIGHT!
T. Dreamer vs TEST!
and
PUNK vs Kelly Kelly's B.F.F.; Mr. Knox
FIRST OFF! The Punk is fighting for a spot on the Xtreme Xlimination Xhamber against Knox. Knox comes out -and you can tell by his face that he's not ready- trust me; he's like a son to me.
He sends Kelly away backstage, most likely so she wont have sex with Punk during the match.
Tazz mentions the Punk knows Kung Fu! (he rly said "Martial Arts" but w.e!). Tazz/Joey believe that the Kung Fu gives Punk the advantage; but the truth is that its the Pepsi.
LIVE! For reasons obscure to me; The Oklahoma Roll Pin is renamed the Redhook Roll Pin by Joey! This distracts me from the action just long enough to miss how exactly Knox stopped what had been a lengthy ass beating courtesy of the Punk.
Punk wins by submission, advancing to the Chamber! This match was good; Punk really showcased his talent in this match. I usually only cover the main-event with so much detail but I know how much all you pirates on the-w hate Punk, so I wanted to irritate you by mentioning him a lot.
COMMERCIAL BRAKE!
Return to REBECCA interviewing Terkay and D.J. from Street Fighter II- The New Challangers! Ah what the hell, let's just say "Terkay" is rly Zangief. And apparently D.J.'s name is Elijah... they say something about being good or watevar... I missed it cause I was talking about SFII.
PAUL HEYMAN! Out in the ring. Replays RVD being screwed by the gorilla (Heyman) last week. Paul Heyman practically says he is the Jesus of Wrestling. HE'S HERE TO MAKE A MATCH: -Bob and Rob will team up again (Did I not say last week they're now a regular stable? I am some kind of Sorcerer) ANYWAYS TONIGHT: Bob and Rob vs Show and Heyman
Paul opens the gates! (analogy) anyone from RAW or Smackdown can sign to be part of the XChamber! Who will it be?! You can tell it will be Hulk Hogan cause some guy in the back had a Hogan sign.
COMMERCIAL BRAKE
Little Guido (Nunzio) is out in the ring with Some Chick! Mini Hassan comes out with Kali (whom the announce team agrees is scary). Tazz suggests facing Kali is like wrestling a building.
Pretty slow-paced cruiserweight bout between Little Guido and Daivari.
Daivari wins and Kali literally kills Little Guido.
COMMERCIAL BRAKE
John Cena! He was on a lot of Talk Shows! I know you've been wondering and apparently YES! Robin from Howard Stern would have sex with John, the commercial says.
THE MATCH!
Standard Drug TEST comes out. Tazz says Test is both pissed AND angry, AND he has a bad attitude. T. Dreamer comes out with relatively good fan response.
Test begins the match with his trademark move; ELBOWING PEOPLE IN THE EYEBALL!
Tommy kind of makes some attempts at offense. But Test, to put it politely; beats the living shit out of him at every turn.
CONCLUSION: Test just literally killed Tommy Dreamer.
COMMERCIAL BRAKE
Promo for Cyber Sunday. You should watch it cause popular African-American musician "K-Fed" is gonna be there.
WE'RE BACK
MAIN EVENT
Rob and Bob vs Show and Heyman. Tazz informs us that Heyman looks stupid in that jogging suit.
Tazz with THE line of the night (again); "That feels like a small safe falls from the ceiling unto your upper pectorial region"
Once again; nobody is a match for RVD's Kung Fu. Even Show with his heavy-impact Offense, and Heyman with his jibber-jabber.
WHAT THE?! Holly betrays Van Dam! OMG! It was good while it lasted. Ah the memories. Bob&Rob4Lyfe right guys?
DQ as Bob Alabama-slams Rob on a chair.
TAZZ, much to my delight- says that Holly LITERALLY stabbed Rob in the back. Lollers. Awesome.
IN ANY CASE: Xtreme Xlimination Xhamber participants confirmed: show, sabu, rob, punk, test, ONE MORE TO GO!!!
GOOD NIGHT YOU!
EDIT: No appearance tonight by A Vampire or His Girlfriend, OR her bewbz! Who the hell books this thing?!
(edited by CHAPLOW on 7.11.06 2035) My favorite moments of WWF No Mercy for the N64:
1. Winning the tag team belts with a team composed of Cactus Jack and Mankind.
1) The best in-match turn is still Arn Anderson killing Dustin Rhodes and joining the Col. Parker's Stable. Hot tag, fist pump, DDT. Cold blooded is my Enforcer.
2) The "shocking allegiance switch and partner betrayal" is Big Show's schtick.
Knox still doesn't look like he's a worthy long-term feud for Punk, and I assume this feud continues because Knox and Punk are in the big SS tag. While he did a nifty corner bulldog reversal, that was IT.
Also disappointing was Daivari. I liked the hammerlock DDT, but the match was not what those two guys could give us. Maybe at the ECW PPV ...

I got the sense that he was just speculating, but that probably means that it's going to happen.
CHAPLOW: I cracked up at your pseudo-recap, especially comparing Elijah Burke to Dee Jay from SFII, which I was actually thinking myself during his promo. Never really thought about that while they were on SmackDown!, though, and I'm not sure why. In any event, I actually liked Burke a lot more than Turkay when they were on SD (Turkay really just bored the hell out of me), and so I hope they go the Daivari-Khali route and leave the bigger guy as the enforcer and the smaller guy as the wrestler -- sorry, "extremist."
Speaking of Daivari, he struck me as a good talker while managing Kurt Angle, and I wish they would let him actually speak English; I'm sure he'd get over just fine.

Pirates?
Pirates like rum and thus are enemies of CM Punk. Obviously.
Ken Kennedy debuted a new finisher: Jeff Hardy fans will insist on calling it the Swanton Bomb, but it looks WAY more devastating when not performed by a 180-pound fruitcake. -Rick Scaia 06.12.2006

yeah spf, im sure that was obvious to everyone. geez.
thx for the support Senton, lol.
and Big Bad- I think you're right; but the last animation/diagram/vs screen watever they call it that they showed onscreen for the chamber showed the 5 i named and a "blank" mystery outline shadow...
so, is Bob the 6th man or is someone from RAW or SD! the 6th man? Im not sure.

Actually, the pirates reference wasn't real clear to me either, but I still thought it was funny. Arrr...
Thanks for recapping so I don't have to watch ECWWE. With that in mind, could you spell "Commercial Brake" as "Commercial Break" and only use the term "literally" in reference to something that really did happen? I would appreciate your recaps even more if you would make those minor adjustments.

They also confirm nobody's watching the show.
Ratings: 1.4 / 1.5 / 1.5 / 1.4 / 1.7 OVERALL: 1.5 (tied with July 4th as the lowest rated show)
I've been watching the show, I just haven't had much to say about it anymore. It really seems like after the ratings took a dip, they stopped trying entirely. I swear, I've seen the exact same show at least three times since September. If not, then they're just all running together, which I don't really think is any better. The ratings are never going to improve with this quality of show, and I still haven't heard a difinitive reason for the drop in the first place, so I don't know how they figure running a repetitive show is going to fix things.
I myself like the show. It fetures good solid wrestling that can't be found on RAW and rarely on Smackdown. The ratings will go up in time but during the summer it was running against repeats and little cable competion and now it runs against new shows on the broadcast networks & nip/tuck on cable. Of course there will be a dent in the ratings, but it's stil one of Sci-Fi networks highest rated shows. I mean the ratings are double what TNA usually does and i think this product will get better. They had to deal with an unexpected loss of Angle. Any brand that loses it's top star with no immeidate replacement is going to hurt.

I don't think you can equate "losing" Angle with the real life events.
It was WWE that fired him / not renewed his contract. Not vice versa.

I dont think that Angles "loss" is the real problem here. Angle isnt ECW and he never was! I always thought it was odd to put him in that position from the very beginning. I even liked the Big Show more than him in that enviroment - And that says something! The real problem with ECW is, that it is nothing more than just ANOTHER show nobody really needs. It isnt different or anything! It isnt edgy. It isnt counter culture! Its just the same old s**t! The same faces! The same commentary! The same entertainment instead of wrestling! The same stupid jokes! The same stupid booking and match endings and storylines! No real emotions! No real feel to it! The same old s**t!
