Jack Swagger def. Brett Badery Shad def. The Miz (Disqualification) after Morrison interference kick to the head of Shad right in front of the referee.
Triple Threat Match Evan Bourne vs. Finlay vs. Mark Henry.
Winner: Evan Bourne.
Apparently the guys at WWE.com are bored so they now do there own Tuesday night live feed and write up with the show.

I like Miz & Morrison and Cryme Tyme's OK, but both teams are more than the sum of their parts, I think; this singles match didn't do much for me.
That last match was pretty cool; I liked how it had three guys of vastly different shapes and styles (that's one of the reasons I like having Mark Henry around). I wish Evan Bourne had had some more offense, just because he does some cool stuff. Beautiful SSP, though, huh?

It would be nice if the ECW Champion had a match on his own show though...

I haven't watched this yet but I will soon.. ECW goes by quick which is nice.

I'm sure at least 1/2 of what Striker says goes right over Grisham's head. (and probably more than a few at WWE itself)If only they would give a spot on that team to Josh Mathews.

Evan Bourne continues to surprize and impress. Beautiful SSP. Wasn't that move banned a while back? I just hope that the crowd warms up to him; the crowd was damn near silent when he (and Finlay) had their promo time. I swear, a pin could drop and everyone would have heard it.
The "Bourneswaggle" comment went over like a lead balloon. Too bad, really...it was a funny comment, but the delivery sucked, and Evan didn't really respond to it very well.
Last comment on Bourne: what the hell did he hit Finlay with before landing the SSP on Henry? It looked like a double knee drop on Finlay's shoulders. Is there a name for that movie? It was kinda cool, I think.
Jack Swagger's going to be awesome. A huge "Oh damn!" came from my roomie when Swagger made the "Tommy WHO?" comment.
Shad/Miz was really fun, too. Miz/Morrison remind me a bit of Edge/Christian...they have great chemistry, and they're kind of dorky at the same time.

I've read in a couple of places (still: grain of salt) that he had to do it a bunch of times for Vince (or maybe an underling) to prove that he can hit it safely, consistently.
Which means that either Paul London can't do that, or they just like dicking with Paul.
(Or it simply took them a while to get over how lousy Kidman's was.)

Shad used a move a bit like Cade's finisher (halfway between a really big spinebuster and a proper powerbomb) for a two count on Miz too. | Matt Tracker

I think it was Brock Lesnar who made the SSP verboten. His WrestleMania spot was a bad idea -- Angle was simply too far away.

I'm not sure.. Kidman was definitely using it after Lesnar did. They even did an angle around No Mercy that year several months later about how much Kidman's SSP sucked.

| #14 Posted on 23.10.08 1443.51 | Instant Rating: 8.14 | | If I remember right, it was actually Juventud who got both the 450 and the shooting star press banned in summer '05 when he landed on London's face. Kidman had already been let go shortly before then, but the serious injuries he gave Chavo Guerrero and himself doing the move in the two years prior were probably the reasons that Vince thought its risks outweighed its reward. |
