Okay, I just got a new computer and I'm trying to figure this thing out. One of the problems I've stumbled upon is the saving and viewing of pictures. On my old computer, that was really a piece of garbage, I'd just right click the image, save as, stick it in a folder and I could go back and view it anytime I felt like it by just clicking on it. Now when I do this it won't let me open them at all. It says it can't or it won't. Well, why the fuck not this is suppossed to be a better computer goddamnit. It won't open the bitman or the art files, those are the only options I get to save them under. When I try to open the art files it asks me what I want to open it with. Why is it asking me? Shouldn't it just know? My old computer did it on it's own and it was dumb. I'm very irritated that I cannot figure out such a simple thing, so any help would be nice and I would be grateful.

Edit: It may just be a GheyOhEl problem as it seems to work when I use a different browser, so it's probably just me.

This page says VLC can sometimes work. There is a Mac version at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html . That's about all I can find in a cursory search.
