What the hell is going on at DC Comics? High profile creators who just were announced as taking over books left by even higher profile creators are walking off their books before they even hit the stand.

Andy Diggle left Action Comics on the same day Grant Morrison's last issue went on sale. (newsarama.com) Tony Daniel is taking over writing as well as art. Oof.

And now Joshua Hale Fialkov walked off his Green Lantern books too. (bleedingcool.com)

What especially sucks about Diggle is just last week, he spilled the beans on his idea for a new Superman villain that sounded pretty awesome. (comicbookresources.com) So I guess no time traveling super space vampire will be punching Superman through the moon now? Sucks.

All this on top of how Supergirl #18 arrived today with the wrong writer on the cover (bleedingcool.com)

DC sure seems like kind of a mess.

Well, I think the glow of the new 52 is wearing off. According to Bleed it Cool Fialkov might have left due to the rumored John Stewart death. DC really needs someone to come in not to replace Dido. The new 52 repeaded rewards, but it was short term like everyone knew it would be. The same will go with Marvel Now. There needs to be someone at DC that is not a total tool and allows the creators to be creative as well as realize some DC books are just not going to be big deals, but are still amazing. I nominate myself or Bendis or someone not named Quesada.
