Kind of a chick flick, but I saw the trailers on ABC Family while watching Grounded For Life, and it looked like a funny movie with a unique premise. Went to see it with the girlfriend Saturday night, and it did live up to my expectations. Emma Stone could be huge before long, and I think my favorite characters were her parents, played by Stanley Tucci and Patricia Clarkson. They didn't get a ton of screen time, but I laughed at just about everything they said.
It's more of a teen flick than a chick flick (but I guess you could argue that's two sides of the same coin). Emma Stone, Patricia Clarkson, and Stanley Tucci are indeed the best things in the movie. I thought the movie itself was all right overall, but Stone will be a big star; she is reportedly going to be Mary Jane Watson in the new Spider-Man reboot.
Again, did you even look at the links I gave? I mean it's not worth debating but once you see it, it's over. While the entire episode was based on both stories, the ending itself is practically word for word the same as the end of The Lottery.
