My Pacers are 4-4, having suffered a disheartening loss to the Sixers last night after building a twenty-point early lead, snapping Indiana's three-game winning streak...

The Mavericks are 2-7?! Really? And the Spurs are 3-5, the same record as the Bobcats?

Celtics and Lakers are off to the phenomenal start one should expect from the two teams that met in last year's Finals.

Anyone really think the Knicks' fast start is gonna keep?

I nearly had several heart attacks watching my Hawks play the Celtics a few nights ago, and I'm not really happy about how that game ended or the fact that the Hawks lost to the Nets too (ugh!), but obviously I'm ecstatic with the start and excited for the season.

It can be hard for a homer and a lifelong Hawks fan to be objective sometimes but when I saw the NBA season prediction thread a few weeks ago and saw that NO ONE picked the Hawks to even make the playoffs, I was more than a little surprised. Here's to hoping they continue to prove everyone wrong.

Not if you read the Boston-area papers ... apparently, we're the worst 8-2 team in league history.

Meh, there are some issues that give me pause (falling behind early in games, the bench appearing weaker than it should be) but nothing that makes me fear for their chances of at least making it back to the Finals. We shall see, though.

Parquet Wishes and Leprechaun Dreams

The most hilarious thing about Tommy Dreamer is that everyone else in WWE, from Shelton Benjamin to dudes who haven't even debuted yet, has a T-shirt available. WWE doesn't even bother printing up a T-shirt for Tommy Dreamer, A MAN WHOSE GIMMICK IS WEARING A T-SHIRT WHILE WRESTLING. And why is that? Because not a god damn person would ever pay money for a Tommy Dreamer shirt. Not even his own mother. As a result he usually ends up wearing a shirt that says "WRESTLEMANIA 24" or "JUDGEMENT DAY." I think it's time for Tommy Dreamer to just print up a T-shirt that says "UPCOMING PAY PER VIEW"

He should go to the University of Kentucky. Okay, I had to say that, it is a foregone conclusion that he'll skip college. But, the fact is, that unless he is the most talented player ever, he won't contribute for a few years.
