With Vanilla Sky's comments about choices in the Madden (The W) thread, I thought I'd mention some pretty cool news I heard yesterday.
Apparently, EA Sports is making a baseball game next year, just not a MLB one, since they lost that license. Apparently, they're making a College Baseball game for next season. So we'd get two baseball games (albeit with pretty different rosters and teams).
EA Sports contacted my building yesterday and asked my boss if he could send over some pictures of Penn State baseball uniforms (home and away) along with our helmets and caps. Apparently, they're having trouble finding every collegiate uniform out there because the CLC (college sports licensing people) don't have every school on file, like they do for football. I guess replica NCAA baseball unis aren't that popular. From what we can gather, all 120 NCAA Division I teams will be in the game. I haven't seen any screenshots or anything online, so I thought this was cool news.
The information we got said that they "possibly" could make games after 2006, but I'd bet that they're converting the MVP 2006 development (which I'd guess they started before SEGA got the MLB exclusive license) to this game.
on the shelves 08/07: Monster Madness: Grave Danger (metacritic) - port of the 360 title, with new features (and a new subtitle) but nothing that actually fixes some of the game playing problems of the first game, and the visuals are really bad.
