Race to Witch Mountain is #1 for the weekend with a gross of $25 million, giving him three films (in which he had the lead role) which topped the box office in their first weeks. He may never be Paul Newman, but the Rock is carving out a decent little movie career here.

If ten-year-olds ever get to vote for the Oscars, he just *might* be the next Paul Newman.

I think we have a new universe, not a mix of the previous 2. Also I suspect the series will end with a restored Walter going back to 1985 and telling his earth-1 self how to save his Peter (who died) and the earth-2 Peter (who he stole).
