| #1 Posted on 3.9.02 2103.16 | Now that the WWE owns the WCW tape library and is fighting in court for the ECW tape library and they have been putting out DVD's with bonus matches (Hogan,Triple H,NWO,Etc.) what would be some good DVD ideas? Assuming of course the would use some of the footage equally. The Hogan DVD only had one WCW match in the bonus section. Any Ideas?
In another thread someone mentioned a Bret Hart DVD would be good...I agree.
Assuming they might eventually get the ECW matches a Benoit,Jericho,Rey Jr., or a Tazz DVD would be good. The later 2 seem unlikely at this point though. Maybe a DVD of all WWE wrestlers that started in ECW and their path to the WWe would begood. Comments or ideas??| Promote this thread! | | Mike Phoenix

| #2 Posted on 3.9.02 2116.43 | I think, if they could get away with putting the people on the DVDs, that it would be really cool if they could do some of the older NWA or WCW stuff. Nothing in particular, but, you know, something to show they appreciate it.

To be fair, the Hogan DVD was all about nostalgia - and most of Hogan's WCW run isn't anything the majority of us look back on that fondly. (And all the early NWO stuff was already on their DVD.)

| #7 Posted on 4.9.02 0608.12 | How about a "Monday Night Wars" history DVD. I know it might be slightly biased, but it could show some of the more famous moments, like Luger on the first Nitro,Schiavone's "asses in seats" comment, the Radicalz jump and the RAW/Nitro simulcast.

That would be awesome... is the first appearance of the Radicals on one of the Best of Raw DVDs? With Rey Mysterio, Booker, and Chris Benoit getting a lot more face time, I'd like to see Rey fronting a DVD with WCW and luchadores and Benoit fronting a DVD that includes the Best of 7 with Booker and the Nitro match with Bret in Kansas City (although with the WWE that might be asking too much.
They HAVE to know they'd make a ton of money off the old NWA stuff, if only from people that are casual fans picking them up for nostalgia's sake. And, honestly, if they have a WWF's Funniest Moments, then they need a WCW's Funniest Moments with Shockmaster falling from multiple angles, that boat with Sting and British Bulldog exploding, and the midget from the White Castle of Doom.
