I'm buying it, that is a given. However, how the hell can you do a Dusty Rhodes DVD, a 3 disc one at that, and not have anything involving the legendary Dusty Rhodes vs. Kevin Sullivan feud that set Florida ablaze in the early 80's? If ever there was a no-brainer portion to this DVD, that would be it. That would be far better than showing something from the last WCW PPV or the common man vignettes.
Edit: What should be on this DVD that is missing. If space/time problems occur, just dump the Ivan Koloff match, the 6 man from the first Clash of Champions, the Common Man vignettes, anything from the WWF when he wore polka dots, Dustin's shots at Dusty from '97 and the Greed memories that most try to block out anyway. Here we go.
X-Mas '83: Dusty vs. Sullivan, Loser Leaves Town, Jake Roberts dresses as Santa to cost Dusty the match. Midnight Rider. Near Blinding of Dusty's sister with Dusty's post attack comments. Lakeland 1984: Dusty vs. Sullivan, Midnight Rider interferes for Sullivan. Not having Dusty vs. Sullivan is doing a Tommy Rich DVD without the Buzz Sawyer feud, a Von Erich DVD without the Freebirds feud, and a Raven DVD without the Tommy Dreamer epics. It leaves a glaring hole. More Funks vs. Rhodes. Anything Dusty vs. Abdullah the Butcher. After showing the Sabu/Funk barbed wire match on the ECW DVD, they can't be squeemish on blood. Anything Dusty vs. Bruiser Brody. See Abdullah comments. Midnight Rider defeats Ric Flair for NWA Title, but due to NWA rules about masked wrestlers holding the World Title, can't take belt due to being unable to unmask. If there is anything between Dusty and David Von Erich during his heel run in Florida, put it on. Might never have crossed paths, but, if so, it would be interesting. The James Gang vs. The Midnight Express as well as Jim Cornette doing society a favor by tennis racketing the wildebeast Baby Doll. America's Team vs. The Andersons. If the 9/28/85 promo isn't Dusty saving Flair from the Russians which sets up Flair and the Andersons destroying Dusty in the Omni the next night, they really need it. Dusty vs. Tully, March '86 for the National Title, Flair doing color commentary. Dusty losing the NWA Title to Flair in '86 as he tries in vain to fight the pain of the Figure 4 on a bad leg. The SuperPowers vs. Tully and Arn, Crockett Cup '87, dramatic return of Magnum T.A. Wargames I and II. Magnum vs. Tully interview where Dusty hits Jim Crockett with the baseball bat, causing Dusty to be suspended/stripped of U.S. title and the return of the Midnight Rider. Luger/Windham vs. Tully/Arn 4/88. I just want this because it was one of the greatest heel turns ever. The Midnight Rider confronts Windham in the locker room post match and almost gets the masked ripped off, thus justifying it for this DVD. Windham vs. Rhodes 7/88.

Being from Florida and seeing some of that stuff live, I totally agree with you. Rhodes/Sullivan was possibly the reason I still watch wrestling today, as my dad used to take me to the shows.
This DVD still looks incredible... shit, I'd happily pay $30.00 for that Pak Song match alone.
Heck, I thought the whole reason they finally picked up the Florida tape collection was to get the Dusty/Kevin Sullivan stuff for his DVD? Without it, really, what's the point? And waht about the original War Games?
I was at greed, the last wcw ppv, and believe me, that match belongs on there. The place lost their crap when he came out, and it was the hottest, really only hot match of the night. Then again I'm a huge dusty mark.

The matches with Race at the Garden (as well as the Graham matches) have been on 24/7 lately. I had no idea they ever had an NWA title defense at a WWF house show! I think I remember hearing something about a Backlund vs. Flair, champion vs champion match at some point, but not sure where/when it took place.

July 4th, 1982 at The Omni with Tommy Rich as the special guest referee. You also had Race vs. Graham at the Orange Bowl. Backlund vs. Race in Jacksonville 3 days after he defeated Graham for the title. Backlund vs. Bockwinkle in Toronto. Race vs. Backlund September 22nd 1980 at MSG. And Flair vs. Martel in Japan.
Where's the tag match against the Horsemen when Dusty introduces his partner, the newly face Nikita Koloff? The audience went BATSHIT when the latter walked out to replace the injured Magnum T.A., his archenemy. The moment was spine-tingling.

Is it really just the ending that turns you off? I haven't watched much NWA myself, but having also just watched this on the Flair DVD I think the match was absolutely fantastic, and has made me a Windham fan.
