I can't verify if its true or not, but... damn. If I'm ever in Houston, I'm not staying there.

(I'm sure that coming from me, that means NOTHING, too.)

| #3 Posted on 8.1.02 2030.05 | I stayed at a Doubletree hotel once in the Boston area. And while I can't say there was a "Night Clerk Mike", we were none too impressed with the place, and were out of there the next morning.
Stay at Embassy Suites. They fucking rock.

| #6 Posted on 9.1.02 1514.33 | It seems like the kind of thing I would be apt to do in my spare time at work if I were so pissed off about something. But then my job has lots of spare time, which is why I could do something like that, or spend 2 hours looking for just the right photo of the guy who played Willie on ALF so I could point out the similarities between him and my boss. *hopes his boss doesn't read this forum, would hate to have to do more work while at work*

| #7 Posted on 9.1.02 1536.06 | The hotel in question notwithstanding, the Doubletree in Monterey, CA was very nice and tremendously supportive of the military community when I was there in 1992-93. So for me they have 1 for and 1 against.

| #9 Posted on 10.1.02 1149.47 | I wonder which Doubletree in Houston it was - the one on Westheimer sucks but the one on Post Oak is nice used to stay there on business - great breakfast buffet - fresh mango and papaya every morning
Now the Doubletree in South Beach was terrible - lousy rooms and only one burned chocolate chip cookie on check-in

I'm sure this was something that these guys did for fun, and for others to enjoy. Much like the reason someone might run a wrestling website. |
