According to the article, in 1994 "the U.S. agreed to provide North Korea with two light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for Pyongyang ending its nuclear weapons program." Don Rumsfeld sat on the board of directors of a company who wanted to provide the design and components for the reactors.
The point I'm getting is that because Rumsfeld hates the communist regime of North Korea, he should have either stood in the way of the attempt by his government to appease the North Koreans into ending their nuclear weapons program or he should have spontaneously combusted.
So you really think that the Saudi's, Kuwait, and every other oil producing country is gonna be all thrilled that Iraq can now export more oil? I doubt it. Corporate interests will try as much as they can to keep Iraq bottled up. -Jag
