According to the article, in 1994 "the U.S. agreed to provide North Korea with two light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for Pyongyang ending its nuclear weapons program." Don Rumsfeld sat on the board of directors of a company who wanted to provide the design and components for the reactors.
The point I'm getting is that because Rumsfeld hates the communist regime of North Korea, he should have either stood in the way of the attempt by his government to appease the North Koreans into ending their nuclear weapons program or he should have spontaneously combusted.
Right now I think the VP will depend on two things: 1. Who gets the nod. 2. What the geography looks like polling-wise in summer of 2004. If Dean wins, I suspect Clark gets the job to try and fend off the anti-military spin the GOP will put on him.
