I TOTALLY did not see the Adelle face turn coming. I was disappointed that she had gone to the dark side, cuz Olivia Williams is AWESOME, but I should have known she'd have a trick or two up her sleeve.
Interesting that a) 2010 is still early enough to save the world, and b) Denisof's senator is entirely part of the plan.
What did they remove from Ballard???? The scene of his brain reorganizing was amusing.
This show is on an AWESOME roll. I LOVED the return of Dominic as mind-jumping superhero. The nightmares were all sufficiently freaky, though the episode felt like the Buffy season 4 finale revisited, with Arcane in place of the First Slayer.
Tony and Priya make a cute couple. I wish those two could have gotten out of the car before Adelle instituted her plan. But Echo did say she needed them (or at least, Victor).
Between the return of Nolan this week and the motorcyle dude from episode 1 last week, I am loving all the call backs.
I still need to see Epitaph One so I can learn just how horrifyingly wrong this all winds up going.
I'm sad that this show is going to end, but it seems that it is going to end quite amazingly.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...
You and I will need to see Epitaph One since the finale is called Epitaph One: Return. I love the scene where Adel walks out of the elevator after they capture Echo and the others. It reminded me of Vader appearing for the first time in a New Hope. The music worked well for that scene, too. I also got the Season 4 Buffy finale vibe in the Attic episode. I did like how they had the Angel callback with the hotel name. Someone at AICN had a good theory about these last few episodes, I am at shocked as well someone over there had a good idea. The person believes each episodes is a season wrapped into one episode. That we are seeing what would be a full season story arch jammed into an hour which is very interesting.
I am a little disappointed that we didn't have a team early on, but seeing all those people in the room ready to go to war was awesome. Even the Topher/Boyd/Echo scenes reminded me of Xander/Willow/Buffy or maybe Giles in Boyd's case. Topher has been Emmy worthy all season and his growth has been great. I am hoping we get Amy Acker and Summer Glau back for the finale as well. It absolutely sucks this show is getting shit canned, but if Joss had done this fast paced episodes early on then maybe it wouldn't be over.
Anyone catch this after "CSI" last night? It was supposed to be the "House" of the legal system, but I didn't really see it that way. It's almost like Woods is playing two characters- one at home, and one at work.
