Well, Booker said that he hated the porno music last night, so Kevin Nash said he would fix that if he and Pac got the win. They did, so it only makes sense that Kev should give him the old Wolfpac muzac. It certainly would fit the bass requirement Booker asked for.

Anything that would keep highlighting Booker as the outsider (no pun intended) of the nWo would be great, as he is for all rights and purposes a face now.

I think they should just tack on the NWO beginning to Booker's music, just like the did in Japan to Chono and Mutoh's themes.

Conversely, they could tack the "Can you dig it, Sucka" tag like to the beginning of the NWO music.

Well, that's what they did to Big Show's music last night.

"Well...Well, it's The Big Show" Da-na-na-da-na

But I doubt we'll hear "Yo, you dealin' with da X-Facta" when X-Pac comes out.

Kevin Nash did say "re-mix". The Wolfpac theme is a totally different one. I would guess that they will actually mix Booker's and the nWo themes. Unless Kevin misspoke, which is possible.

Any change to Booker's theme would sadden me.

I think the remix line was a joke guys. Nash said it so nonchalantly that I doubt it was a major plot point.

I agree...but whether the music was a joke or not, the sooner they get Book away from the NWO the better. The man needs to be a face!

I was so frustrated by how they handled the WCW and his arrival. They waited so long and killed any "good will" that he had with the fans.

....just don't bring back "Don't hate the playa, hate the game"...

What the hell did that mean anyway?

I think having Booker as the round-peg-in-the-square-hole is a wonderful idea. When Booker first joined the nWo I thought “Great, they're suddenly sticking him in a situation that he wasn't even involved with until that very moment.”

But the WWF did a good thing-- they didn't take Booker out of his angle with Goldust once Booker joined the nWo. Instead, they were like, “OK, but Goldust still wants to be cool with Booker, so he wants to join the nWo, but the nWo isn't down with that. But Booker is starting to feel protective of this dude he's been hanging with for a little while...”

This is a much better angle than I (and most people) feared it was going to be when Booker first joined the nWo. You're right... Booker T is, for all intents and purposes, a face now, which is one of the reasons that to me, him in the nWo is a great thing to do. He's the Outsider of the nWo now-- still down with the black-and-white, but with certain philosophical differences.

This is gonna be fun to watch.

Gotta agree with eke, I am also glad to see that the Booker/Goldust angle has kept going. I am looking forward to see where this will end up. It is also kind of nice to see a story proceeding that is both drawn-out and not entirely predictable.

I think the Goldust/Booker/NWO angle is awesome, with Booker/Goldust being the funniest thing on WWF TV consistently in a while now. HOWEVER, it better not result in Goldust joining the NWO, it needs to reult in Booker getting kicked out (or leaving on his own), possibly to feud with them.

I don't see what Booker getting kicked out accomplishes anymore. I used to, but now Kevin Nash is CLEARLY a face too. I mean he got the loudest non-hometown hero pop of the night on Raw and, sadly, that's the only match I'd even want to see if Booker left. Booker-Show sucks, Booker-Pac is a waste of time, Booker-Nash, I guess, but I think they'd cheer Nash, I really do. Pac and Show are heels, Goldust, Nash, and Booker are all faces. I don't know how they're gonna fix that problem because based on his "reputation" Nash likes getting cheered and for once, I'll agree with him. If they're gonna cheer him like that he should be a face. The WWE needs to start listening to the fans instead of just saying they do.

I don't care about Nash or the nWo cause I think they are both as stale as week old rice from Taco Bell. HOWEVER, Booker and Golddust are incredible together in promos.

And odessa...."Pirates" is one of my favorite as well.

Yeah. Because Goldie doen't have much direction right now - I'm not sure I know why. I think they could do a real awesome program with Kane and Goldie. Dustin seems to play the comedy pretty well, something Booker's always been good at. They could be the real force in the NWO. Booker and Goldie - X-Pac and Show. With Nash as coach, out of the ring but able to stick it in there from time to time.

Dustin needs to get the NWO cut into his hairdo - or at least painted in.

And, by Gosh - let's bring back the paint!

The next time they're in Houston, Goldust should dress up like a Wendy's cashier. Or better yet, Dave Thomas.

I think that the NWO will eventually turn face. Booker, Goldust and Nash. X-pac and Show are useless anyway. My guess is that those three might split off and help Austin do battle with Benoit, Guerrero etc...

By the way, Storm's gimmick includes 1.) telling the audience to shut up, and 2.) occasionally making everyone stand for the Canadian national anthem. You know they don't know what to do with a wrestler when he's making fans stand for a national anthem. It's like waving a white flag and saying, "This guy has no personality -- we give up."

I've dug the whole "pseudo-attraction" angle Goldust has had going...and for some reason, I've always been a mark for him, as little sense as that makes. Thusly, this is running rather nicely with me.

However, figuring out a climax COULD be difficult. If Booker goes face he'll have to leave the nWo--which'll create a rather divided feud between himself and Nash (and even I'm not sure who'd get cheered there), as well as taking away even MORE power from the group.

Goldust joins the nWo...hm. On one hand, it adds strength to the group, keeps the angle alive, and gives it a chance to get over with the crowd by adding in the comedy alley the two provide. Only problem is that such heat would chop the legs out from under the "serious threat" feel Nash seems to be pushing for.

Booker leaves the nWo--Goldust joins up, having found more that he likes in the group mentality? Wouldn't come together very well.

Treacherous ground it is, yes...

I thought about that, and almost posted it, but in hindsight, I don't think it's an option.

No one's going to take Goldust seriously as a heel: they have no reason to do so. He's been portrayed as nothing but a comedy character. The only way to make him a credible heel and still have him fit into the nWo would be to immediately shove him into a full-fledged, "they made me love being bad" role--and the explanation would still require channeling the Goldust character, to which people have now attached the stigma of "hey, that's the guy who wore the nightie".

So I dunno. Maybe I'm short-sighted.

He can turn on Booker, but not join the NWO. Example:

Booker has a tag match with Goldust against anybody. Goldust turns on him, gives him the shattered dreams, whatever. The NWO then is all "see, we TOLD you to stay away from that guy." Then, for the next while, the rest of the NWO fights faces while Booker fights heel Goldust, thus furthering the "outsider" thing Booker has going while keeping the rest of the NWO heel. Eventually, Booker can finally beat Goldust only for the NWO to jump him after the match for wasting his time with that loser. Booker then goes on to fight Nash/The NWO and Goldust is out of the picture.

Damn! I know Homicide's alright on the mic, but Konnan brought intensity to each LAX promo. After annoying the hell out of me for years in WCW, he finally won me over again. Oh well. The loss of Killings is a shame.
