Does anyone remember at a Halloween Havoc in the Early 90's in which one of the matches was Sting v. Sid Vicous. In that match Barry Windham dressed up and wrestled as Sting.I don't remember how the match ending but I remember seeing something about it in a Apter mag back when I was a little mark.

Does anyone remember that? Are was I just seeing things?

Sting and Sid wrestled to the back, then "Sting" and Sid wrestled back to the ring when Sid got the pin. Then Sting appeared from the back, and defeated Sid. Yep.

The attempted switcheroo was because Windham and Sid were both Horsemen at the time.

I remember that when the real Sting re-appeared, he was tied up. Long story.

When I said "He and Kofi had the inside track to carry the 'perpetual underdog' torch from Rey," a passed torch usually connotes someone hangs up their boots.
