Thought this was a good episode, although seemingly derivative of both The Idiot Lantern and Rise of the Cybermen.

Good chemistry between Smith and Coleman.

Trailer for next week seems like the standard formula for the second episode of a season (far future, girl in peril, etc)

Jenna-Louise Coleman was on the latest episode of the Nerdist podcast and has some interesting behind-the-scenes stories to tell about her first season.

I was rather unimpressed. It seemed like a greatest hits of Moffat's tics/flaws, and I'm generally a Moffat apologist.

It was a bit pandering to the whole "Dr. Who?" phrasing. The return of the fez was reminding me of that dog from Pirates of the Caribbean that they felt the need to keep tossing in.

Hey, in all fairness, people love that fez. I can't disagree that the episode pandered a bit, but overall I enjoyed it.

While I've only viewed 3 episodes with Clara Oswald, I don't foresee things ending too well for her. In this episode we found out she gained her computer expertise after being returned from upload, and she demonstrated the same expertise in saving the Doctor from the Daleks in her first appearance. She was trapped inside a Dalek, then, and was destroyed, if you recall. I hope Moffat doesn't really end her like that. I'm still sorry for the way River ended up when Doctor #10 first met her--living the remainder of her days inside a simulation in the largest library in the universe.

Wife thinks, Clara is a computer program and the Doctor is trapped in some sorta Matrix. I think she is s time lord or a paradox. Either way, we like her and the episode. No 11th Hour, but better than Asylum and Mr and Mrs. Smith

The weak link to the Cleveland show is Cleveland. He just sucks the air out of the scene. I loved the Rollo B-plot especially with him as the Gopher and the EMTS pulling his friends out with the jaws of life.
