Continuing the string of mostly better than average episodes (apart from the awful Dinosaurs on a Spaceship)
Nice to see return of UNIT, seemingly more in line with the original than the one that showed up in the RTD era
Lots of wonderful character moments, certainly more than the cube plot, which seemed like a macguffin and really in the background for the Ponds/Doctor relationship.
People have speculated the episodes this season are out of order in a timey wimey sense, with Rory's phone charger being mentioned earlier this year while we just now saw it this week.
We again had eggs and Xmas referenes, but apparently no sparking electricity or female computer voices.
Dinosaurs was the best episode. This was a nice throwback episode with Amy's opening monologue that looked like it was in standard def on my HD. I am glad Rory's Dad has become a complete character and its pretty clear that something bad is going to happen to the Ponds. I liked the callback to the Brigadier's Daughter and UNIT. I didn't mind UNIT in RTD, because it looked like they actually fight and win. This UNIT seems to go back to wait around til the Doctor does something. So, it fits with the throwback episode.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
I'm pretty sure when V returns for season 2 I won't be there. That finale sucked. Sucked the big one. Among my many, many complaints, the most important one is that when that episode was produced, they did not yet have a renewal from ABC.
