Still conflicted how I feel about this one.

Intriguing plot but I really hate stories where

big plot points happen and are reset at the end of the episode

It does seem that's of elements from the entire Moffat era.

I didn't know that the BBC website does a fact page for each episode. IT's good to take a look at this one, since it explains from where all the audio clips are taken.

Yeah, next to the Gaiman Cyberman story, this is the one where they released the titles, I was waiting for. There were nice callbacks especially with the audio. Loved seeing the swimming pool and the library. I wonder if they will ever release the History of the Time War. I'd pre-order it in a heart beat.

Other than that, it was just kinda there at times. Didn't care about the brothers. The end was a bit too easy. I also think spacial amnesia is just as bad as real amnesia.

The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

The visuals were nice - the story was not. I second odessasteps' irritation about the climax - especially the literal provision of a big button to press. I'm also still wondering how the Doctor ended up outside a locked TARDIS after the crash-landing.

I loved Clara's dress - I wonder where I could buy one.

Liked it a lot. Worth the IMAX admission because when she is lifted up to the arena the screen changes to the IMAX ratio and is like that for 50 consecutive minutes. So happy about the lack of shaky cam which made me dizzy in the first movie.
